On January 24, actor Lee Seung-gi received an offer to star as the main lead in Love By Law. Hook Entertainment said that the actor is positively reviewing the offer. However, the same was confirmed by the actor’s agency on April 7. Netizens are more than happy to hear the news because the actor surely has captured the hearts of thousands across the planet with his acting skills in various k-dramas.
His fame shot up a hundredfold when he starred as the main lead in K-dramas such as, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, A Korean Odyssey, Mouse, and Vagabond. Mostly, Lee Seung-Gi took up roles that involved action, mystery, or suspense. This time it is going to be different as he is leading a romance drama!
The 29-year-old actress Lee Se Young has starred in ‘A Korean Odyssey’ alongside Lee Seung-Gi. So, this will be the second time that the actors are cast together. The South Korean actress is known for her roles in various k-dramas, including “Hit The Top,” “The Crowned Clown,” “Memorist,” “Doctor John,” etc. However, her role in “The Red Sleeve” as Sung Deok-Im brought Lee Se Young the fame that knows no bounds! Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung-Gi) is a former prosecutor who now owns a cafe shop. He is described as a “Monster Genius.” Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) is a former contestant of Miss Korea and a lawyer who has established a successful career. But she has now quit her job as a lawyer and opened up a cafe. This cafe was owned by Kim Jeong Ho, whom she had known for seventeen years as they previously studied at the same school. However, Yu Ri is unaware of the fact that Kim Jeong Ho was his schoolmate.
Also, the cafe is a law firm hybrid meaning it is both a law firm and a cafe. Yu-Ri and the possible second lead of the drama live on the second floor of the same cafe building. There also seems to be a love triangle involving the second lead. But this is just speculation as it was how the story unfolds in the webtoon from which the drama was adopted.
Love According To Law is all set to air on the KBC2 network from August 29, 2022. It is a 16-episode drama with a show time of 1 hr 20 mins. The drama will come to an end on October 18, 2022. Love By-Law is directed by Lee Eun Jin, who previously directed the k-drama “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo.” Law dramas are very logical and have some heart-fluttering romance to offer in most cases, which makes it an irresistible show to spree on when you want to unwind from the hectic schedule!
