When asked about how her character Seong Deok in the historical drama series is different from her past roles as court ladies, Se Young said that the ending of episode 5 of the drama series portrays Seong Deok in her coolest avatar. The lines ‘I will protect you’, was really cool and bold coming from a court lady whose presence is irrelevant for many out there.
She continued further that she wants to continue acting as she ages and to keep the consistency, she never compares herself with others. There is always a competition going on between one’s own records, and it is also the same for her.
Talking about her career in the arena of sports and acting, Lee Se Young shared if she does something yesterday, then she compares that part of herself to the present and tries to move one step forward. And this process of moving forward is never a cakewalk, if she is able to do that, then it will be easier for her to grow without getting jealous of others.
She explained further that she doesn’t believe that she ever will be in the top position and neither does she have greed for the same.
