The six-member Astro band consists of Cha Eun Woo, Moon Bin, Park Min-hyuk, Yoon San-Ha, Kim Myung-jun, and Park Jin-woo. The leader of the Astro band is Jinjin, who is the main rapper and lead dancer of the group.

In November 2019, The members of Astro were to give a live performance for the title song “Blue Flames” without Moonbin as he was suffering from health issues. And it was announced that he would take a break from the activities of the band. After a three-month hiatus, Moonbin and Sanha formed a sub-unit under which they released many albums. A month back, “Refuge,” consisting of five songs, was released by them. Meanwhile, JinJin and Rocky, the main dancer and lead rapper, formed the second sub-unit of Astro in 2022.
They released their debut album “Restore” on January 17, consisting of five songs Just Breathe, CPR, Lazy, Complete Me, Lock Down, and Lazy. Park Myung-Jun, however, halted all his activities due to health reasons. Fans speculate this is because of his hectic schedule and that he needs to take rest to recover. Before this, MJ released produced music for drama OSTs and also released solo songs “Get Set Yo” and “Valet Parking.” MJ is the lead vocalist and the oldest member of Astro, who is 28-years-old.

Previously, the latest album by Astro was “SWITCH ON.” It was released on August 2021 with the title song, “After Midnight.”
