HYBE & Source Music Labels have dropped a new set of debut teasers of their latest girl group offering LE SSERAFIM, featuring one of the announced members Miyawaki Sakura. The images and video teasers show fans a whole new avatar of LE SSERAFIM Sakura never seen before, and needless to say, have got all their fans super excited. It is already known that BTS’s sister group LE SSERAFIM would be making their official debut this May, and the fans can’t stop counting the days till that godly day finally arrives.
Other than the breathtaking video teaser of LE SSERAFIM Sakura, new photographs, digital souvenir Still, and moving images have also been released. Additionally, Sakura’s artist profile has also been added in the WeVerse for LE SSERAFIM. Fans are anticipating the teasers of the other announced member Kim Chaewon (also formerly in IZ*ONE) to drop, and also for the other members of the girl group to finally get revealed.
LE SSERAFIM Sakura – Debut Video Teaser
In the video teaser released on YouTube, Miwayaki Sakura is serving us various looks dressed in a tuxedo to sheer black tops. The video has futuristic as well as Y2K aesthetics, setting the tone for the debut concept of the HYBE girls’ newest Le Sserafim will be offering. In the video, the phrase “I’M FEARLESS” is prominently featured, fueling a lot of theories among the fans.
Fans are speculating that if motorcycles, neon light aesthetics are really going to be present in their debut video, then this debut will be a type of mature girl-crush concept will be unlike any other amongst the current crop of girl groups.
Some fans have also pointed out that certain aspects of the video are very reminiscent of EXO’s music video for their single ‘Tempo’. The hype for LE SSERAFIM is very real, as evident from the fact that Sakura has been trending worldwide ever since the teaser release!

Sakura’s LE SSERAFIM Debut Profile Pictures Released by HYBE
Other than the video teaser, HYBE has also released a pictorial of Sakura in makeup and attires that are totally in contrast with the girly image she had portrayed during her time in the Produce 101 winner group IZ*ONE. Of course, Sakura is youthful but she is a veteran in the idol industry (from Japan to Korea), so she is seen doing complete justice to the various looks in the photosets.
In the first photo set, Sakura has on a spring-appropriate peachy makeup look, and is wearing a white crop top with blue denims and white converse.
Whereas, another photoset reveals Sakura with a more mature makeup look complete with darker lips and sharply lined eyes, which she is rocking with an all-black attire.

Additionally, Sakura is also photographed wearing a red dress, as well as an outfit consisting of a white polo crop top and red pair of skorts. Here, she has heavily blushed cheeks as well with pink lipstick, emanating the vibe of a princess.

What does the phrase ‘LE SSERAFIM’ Mean?
Whenever a new group with a unique name is revealed, fans jump on the chance to put out their theories about what the name could possibly mean. The meaning behind the name is usually cleared out by the members in the debut showcase, so that is something to look forward to! Meanwhile, fans are speculating that the name refers to the mythological creature ‘seraphim’ which is a multi-winged celestial being serving as the guardian of God. Additionally, since the phrase “I’M FEARLESS” was featured in the video, fans have pointed out that the group name is also an anagram of that phrase.
It has been reported that Bang Si Hyuk is in charge of producing Le Seraphim’s debut album. Additionally, Big Hit’s Kim Sung Hyun (Nu Kim) is also reported as being a part of the debut production team of LE SSERAFIM. Hence, we can expect something ethereally out-of-this-world from their debut!
