The previous few weeks on NCIS: Hawai’i have been a roller coaster ride for its characters. Tennant’s squad had an undercover Chinese spy on their team. A later episode damaged a members’ familial bonds, while another had a negative impact on people’s personal life. NCIS Hawaii Season 1 Episode 18, on the other hand, focused on another relationship involving NCIS’ Special Agent Torres.
The episode “T’N’T” was part of a two-hour crossover with NCIS. Torres was dispatched to Hawai’i in the first half to work on a cold case alongside Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant. When Torres landed in Hawaii, he and Tennant captured a witness Torres had been looking for for years. They were ambushed, though, and the witness was murdered. Despite the fact that NCIS hinted over what Torres would be doing in Hawaii, his case was unrelated to the plot during the flagship’s hour. That meant that it wasn’t until the second half that fans saw Torres working alongside Tennant – and discovered that he had a past with the show’s latest strong female character.
NCIS Hawaii Season 1 Episode 18 Review And Recap
In NCIS Hawaii Season 1 Episode 18, Special Agent Nick Torres had arrived in town to question a witness. Tennant, the Special Agent in Charge, was the one who tracked him down. Tennant’s team had just learned that Torres was heading into town to locate a missing witness when they heard Torres and Tennant were hit. They were travelling along their route with their witness when they were shot at. The gunfire forced them off the road and into cover, but their witness was dead. They opened fire on the men who were shooting at them, and they drove away just as the witness’s body vanished.
Kyle Jennings, a Fortress employee, was the witness. Fortress was to blame for Marine Corporal Daniel Menlo’s death. It was suspected that Fortress or one of its members had incorrectly stored explosives, causing an explosion. Greg Winslow, a Fortress employee, was accused for the explosion. They fired him, and he appears to have committed suicide after returning to the United States. Jennings was the last person in the know, therefore he knew exactly what occurred with the explosion. Torres has been on the hunt for him ever since.

Winslow Faked His Own Death
Tennant explored the location for evidence and discovered plants that could only be found on one campsite on the island. Tenant and Torres were looking for Jennings’ body when they accidentally stumbled across Winslow. Winslow was still alive and well. The squad still arrested him, but he was taken to the station while they questioned him and tried to figure out why he was still alive. Winslow claimed he had no choice but to fake his suicide because Fortress would have killed him to hide what had happened overseas.
He said that Jennings was the only one who saw everything about Fortress and that he knew what caused the explosion. Winslow didn’t know much about anything. He was only the supply guy, but Jennings was no longer alive. The evil guys even went to considerable measures to gather his remains, therefore it’s likely that the body has some proof. The crew began to suspect that Fortress intended to dispose of the body by cremating it. They searched every location on the island and discovered one that wasn’t supposed to be active but was still producing smoke.
Winslow Is Once Again Missing
The group entered the structure. They interrupted the cremation process. They found sufficient bone fragments to identify the body as Jennings’, as well as an unusual component. Aluminum was discovered on the body. Ernie began to suspect that the aluminium came from the overseas explosion. He replicated the explosion, and the firm’s reported explanation for what occurred does not fit. They were successful in tracing the explosive trace back to Fortress. They only needed Winslow to tell them who made the bomb. They tried to question him, but he was missing, and he vanished not long after he received a call from his sister. Fortress had tracked him down through his sister. On the island, there existed a Fortress compound. It was their CEO Brent Spooner’s seat.
Spooner Was The Guy
Spooner was the one who turned the company’s fortunes around. Following the international explosion, he received a large financial boost. Spooner used the explosion to cover up the heist of forty million dollars, which he pumped into the company in order to develop it into an elite juggernaut. Winslow must have been observed with Torres and Tennant by one of Fortress’ contacts. He got to Winslow in the only manner they knew how, and they were interrogating him to find out just how much NCIS knew when NCIS stormed through the doors to save him.
