Having lost his parents at a young age, Yeon Woo has always aspired to be a lawyer, and thus he studied a lot and aced the bar under a false name, but due to his unstable financial situation, he never was able to attend law school.
His financial turmoil made him work odd jobs to pay the hospital bills for his grandmother.
Attorney Choi is advised to hire a junior after he is promoted to a senior position. In the process of finding a junior, he interviews Go Yeon Woo, who stumbles in the interview area whilst hiding from the police. Kang Seok is impressed by his brilliant intelligence and personality and decides to hire him temporarily as his junior. This was a very reckless move by him as Yeon Woo didn’t have any official license, but he grows attached to the young man because of his creativity which helped him greatly in every case.
