On November 8, 2024, Shogakukan confirmed that the anime adaptation of Hotel Inhumans, Ao Tajima’s popular manga series, will premiere in 2025. A teaser visual showcasing the anime’s stylish and intense atmosphere was released alongside the announcement.
Fans were given a glimpse of Sara, one of the main characters, posed in the hotel’s opulent lounge with a gun, emphasizing the series’ unique setting: a luxurious hotel exclusively serving assassins. The visual’s tagline, “Welcome to the hotel exclusively for assassins,” further hints at the anime’s dark allure and intriguing premise.
Hotel Inhumans Anime Adaptation Announced for 2025 Premiere
Hotel Inhumans originally launched in June 2021 on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website, quickly gaining attention for its thrilling narrative and complex characters. As of now, eight tankobon volumes have been published, with the ninth scheduled for release on November 19, 2024.
The anime’s staff also revealed celebratory visuals, including one with Sara and her counterpart, Ikuo, to commemorate the adaptation. Tajima expressed excitement over seeing his characters animated, stating, “I’ve been in such a state of shock since I first heard about it that I thought it was a dream.” He invited fans to enjoy the thrilling world of Hotel Inhumans with him.
Directed by Tetsuro Amino (known for Shiki and Macross 7), the anime is being produced by Bridge studio. Shoji Yonemura will oversee the series scripts, and Shingo Fujisaki is set as the character designer. Amino’s direction and Yonemura’s script supervision promise to bring an intriguing combination of suspense and visual depth to the adaptation.
