Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, early on a Tuesday morning. Despite this, he will proceed with his scheduled performances at the United Center in Chicago on Friday and Saturday as part of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour.
A Sag Harbor Village Police Department officer described Justin Timberlake as “unable to divide attention,” noting “he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
Timberlake refused a chemical test three times and was subsequently arrested. He spent the night in custody awaiting arraignment, as confirmed by police. He was later released without bail, and his next court date is scheduled for July 26th.
After completing his shows this weekend, Timberlake is set to return to New York for performances at Madison Square Garden on June 25 and 26 as part of his tour.
