The Equalizer, a reinvention of the beloved series, revolves around a mystery woman with a dark past who uses her vast skill set to assist those who have nowhere else to turn. On February 7, 2021, the American crime drama television series The Equalizer made its broadcast debut on CBS.
It is a reboot of the 1980s series of the same name and the second in the franchise, coming after the 2014 movie and its 2018 and 2023 sequels. Executive producers Richard Lindheim, Michael Sloan, and Queen Latifah—who also plays the title role—co-created the show.
Executive producers John Fox, Terri Miller, Andrew Marlowe, Debra Martin Chase, and John Davis are also involved. While working on the series, Lindheim passed away on January 18, 2021, from heart failure; the debut of the show is devoted to his memory.
Recap
Robyn gathers additional hints from Harry, who is conducting additional computer research, and Fisk, who is recuperating in a hospital. She finally finds out that the secretary of state, who is attempting to neutralize the freedom fighters, is the name of the person who signed the order for the CIA to depart Venezuela, not the list of agents.
Robyn learns that Michelle intends to murder the official. As Robyn and Mel reach the secretary of state quickly, they take over his automobile and try to transport him to safety, but Michelle arrives and shoots the car. Michelle challenges Robyn to a sword fight because she won’t give up.
After Robyn gets cut in the stomach, she stabs Michelle. Later, Robyn is visited by Aunt Vi, Delilah, Mel, and Harry while she recuperates, and Dante sends flowers. Mel and Harry are informed by Robyn that the remaining freedom fighters would be returned to Venezuela.
While Dante is at the police station finishing up some business of his own, he finds out that he has been cleared of all charges and given his job back because Harry handed them some relevant camera footage.
