Rather than debuting in the fall as previously scheduled, I Can See Your Voice season 3 will now air in the middle of the season. Participants in the show must distinguish between the genuine vocalists and the fake “Secret Singers.”
Every week, viewers look forward to the end of each new episode to discover if any celebrities help their competitors win a cash prize of up to $100,000 or make costly mistakes.
The popular competition show I Can See Your Voice, which is returning for a third season with all-new theme nights, is hosted and executive-produced by Ken Jeong. Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Cheryl Hines are also returning, bringing with them a rotating team of celebrity detectives who may help a contestant distinguish between proficient and incompetent vocalists without ever having to see them perform.
In an attempt to earn $100,000, the participant will try to distinguish between the good and the negative “Secret Voices.” Finally, the participant’s selected vocalist will perform a musical duet with a celebrity, showcasing their genuine voice in what might end as being either an amazing musical collaboration or a hilarious disaster. It’s Dr. Ken Jeong returning to hosting.
Before opting to devote his life to the entertainment industry, Dr. Jeong was an internal medicine practitioner. However, after switching to television and movies, he has appeared in series including The Hangover, The Afterparty, and Crazy Rich Asians.
Additionally, he has continuously served on the panel for The Masked Singer, and he will continue to do so in season 10. Two famous panelists, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Cheryl Hines, helped emcee the event. Hines’ most recent efforts include Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Flight Attendant.
Bailon-Houghton recently starred in Raven’s Home and served as host of Love for the Ages. As soon as the special celebrity panelists that will be joining them each week are announced, we’ll let you know. It hasn’t been made public as of yet.
About The Show
By the original format, the contestant could eliminate one or two mystery singers after each round. The outcome of a guest artist duet determines the winner of the game; the final mystery vocalist standing wins.
The contender has to eliminate one mystery vocalist after the first five rounds; if they eliminate a subpar performer, they will win $15,000. After the game is over, the player can choose to cash in on their earnings from the previous rounds or try their luck at winning $100,000 if they correctly guess the caliber of the last mystery vocalist.
Each of the three groups, consisting of two mystery singers, does a lip-sync routine for a single song. Following the performances, the competitor eliminates one performer from each group. The contender will also have one “Golden Mic” opportunity during the rounds, during which they can receive further advice and insights from a celebrity guest who is off-stage.
A video package featuring one of the mystery singers discusses their life story and musical background with the competitor and guest musician. A Day in the Life: The guest artist and competitor receive a video package that documents one of the remaining mystery singers’ everyday activities.
Super Fan: The contestant and guest artist receive a video package featuring a “super fan” of one of the remaining mystery vocalists. Secret Snoop: The contender and guest artist “tours” one of the mystery singer’s remaining homes for sixty seconds, looking for clues that could lead to red herrings.
The contestant and guest artist may question the remaining mystery vocalists. Good vocalists have to be honest in their responses, and bad singers have to lie.
