Who doesn’t love drama, and a good reality series provides just that to viewers and one such reality series that managed to make a place for itself in viewers’ hearts titled “Southern Hospitality,” is set to return with a bang with a brand new season to entertain the viewers.
Produced by Ebonice Atkins and Josh Halpert, the reality series focuses on the lives of a group of social friends living in Charleston and the professional and personal lives of people working at Leva Bonaparte’s restaurants and bars.
Set to release this fall season on 7 December 2023, by Bravo, the second season of the reality series will star Mia Alario, Leva Bonaparte, Bradley Carter, Joe Bradley, Will Kulp, TJ Dinch, Lucia Pena, Maddi Reese, Grace Lilly, Oisin O’Neil, Emmy Sharrett, and Osin O’Neil in the lead.
The prime focus of the reality series is Leva Bonaparte, a boss lady known for her snit on Southern Charm who oversees her larger-than-life crew working at Republic Garden & Lounge as she witnesses the crowd of Charleston every day and Leva sets the bar so high with Leva’s treatment of her crew.
Leva plays a pivotal role in the lives of her crew as she helps the group of attractive young singles deal with conflicts, relationships, breakups and reconciliations along with being the voice of reason for some of her employee’s irrational behaviour while also never hesitating to make difficult choices.
The reality series witnesses the working at Republic and its level-headed cast belonging to Leva’s squad, which includes a flamboyant bunch of close friends motivated by their play-and-work ethic. Leva’s crew is compelled to contend for advice on the greatest spots Charleston’s nightlife has to offer.
Leva’s focus is on her nightclub in Republic even though she owns four other eateries in the city along with her husband but the life and enjoyment that the club at Republic provide doesn’t compare to any other eateries she owns.
The first season of Southern Hospitality was released by Bravo for viewers to watch on November 28, 2022, with 8 episodes in total that had a runtime of 44 minutes that managed to entertain the viewers with the ever-so-loving drama and the way Leva handles her crew.
Southern Hospitality Season 1 – Recap
The previous season began with a bang as Leva Bonaparte, the restaurant owner and a matriarch who treats her employees like a family celebrated her birthday at Republic, her highly successful club, and everything was going great until it was not as Leva’s crew working that night get into a fight that threatened to disrupt her day.
The prime reason for the fight breaking out turned out to be nothing but Grace feeling betrayed after her former best friend Maddie talked about Grace’s shortcomings at work while Mike is disciplined by Leva after he gets caught promoting another club that leaves his co-workers feeling pissed off as well.
Meanwhile, Joe Bradley finally gathers the courage to admit his feelings for Maddie but stops after he realizes that he may have been too late as Maddie makes up with her former boyfriend while Leva decides to give Mike another chance by bringing him back to Republic but having him do the dirty work to prove his dedication and loyalty for her.
Meanwhile, Grace finally had enough and fires back on TJ for continuously attacking her ethic at work and judging her for her posts on social media as she often posts steamy pictures of herself, while Maddie makes Joe jealous by inviting her former boyfriend to a work event.
Mia is left in a difficult spot after her father pressures her and judges her for the choices she has made related to her career and love life, while Mike has an opportunity to earn his place as a VIP host after Joe suffers from an injury following his fall.
Meanwhile, a blowup fight happened between TJ and Mike due to Mike adding fuel to the already flaming fire at Grace’s Alice in the Wonderland-themed birthday party, but it didn’t damper the mood for Grace as she continued to have a blast.
Well, after the events at Grace’s birthday, Mike continues to wonder if he can continue with his work at Republic while Grace’s enthusiasm earned her brownie points with Leva, but things weren’t so good for Will, as his wild night at a club left his co-workers feeling pissed.
Meanwhile, Maddi invites the entire crew to a NASCAR race where Trevor has the opportunity to meet Maddi’s parents for the first time following her breakup, and well things start to look up for the cast as they party at Lake Norman.
Things take a turn for the worse for the crew after the party due to Leva seeing inappropriate posts on Instagram and threatening to fire her employees while Grace has an emotional outburst that leads to her going out with her crew after she learns about Mia going on a date with her crush.
The first season ended with Grace throwing an upscale event hosting Leva’s friend while Emma urged Will to apply to a law school, and an explosive fight lands Joe in hot water after Joe professed his love for both Maddi and Mia.
Southern Hospitality Season 2 Episode 1 – Release Date
Southern Hospitality season 2 episode 1 will become available for viewers on Bravo on 7 December 2023, at 9:00 PM [E.T.], and will focus on the crew of Leva being busier than ever with new clients coming to enjoy their time at Republic Club and the crew is on pins and needles following Lucia being fired by Leva but things aren’t looking good for Maddi after a cheating rumour makes way for people.
Meanwhile, Bradley, TJ and Joe try to learn about Oisin’s, the new VIP server’s side hustle, while Mia apologizes for her outbursts, and Maddi finally snaps after new details are added to the rumours about Trevor’s cheating.
