Secrets run deep in the Whitehouse, with Victoria, Eli, and others all having their plans to attain power. Tyler Perry’s The Oval returned with a new season earlier in October this year, and things at the presidential house couldn’t have gotten any messier.
The Oval is a political drama that revolves around the lives of the president’s family along with the lives of all of the workers of the place. From hidden plans to open betrayals, the life of a family in power is seldom peaceful.
The 5th season of The Oval shifts its focus more on the side characters, such as Eli, Nancy, and the others. Returning cast members for this season include Ed Quinn in the role of Hunter, Kron Moore to play Victoria, Daniel stars as Jason, and Russell Thomas will play Eli.
Hunter’s butler will also be showing up once again, this time with Javon Johnson as Richard Hallsen and Ptosha Storey playing his wife, Nancy. Season 5 has Hunter step down as the president, while Eli is going to be taking over the Whitehouse instead.
Recap
Donald confronts Victoria about her secret plans involving Eli. He doesn’t want Eli to read the reports of what went on in the Whitehouse before them and thought Victoria was going to do something about it. Victoria has no interest in him and demands him to leave.
Bobby and Max talk to Eli, who then assigns them different tasks. Eli asks Max to monitor the president along with Kyle. Alonzo shows up at Lilly’s home, and she warns him to leave before her husband ends up harming him in any way.
Donald talks to the doctor treating Hunter and demands to treat him faster. The doctor lets him know that using quick treatments could further damage his organs and prevent him from ever getting better.
Hunter’s life is in danger as someone is trying to assassinate him, so Donald makes sure that no one, including Victoria, will be able to meet Hunter before he’s fully back in good shape.
Donald meets up with the new First Lady and lets her know about Victoria’s plans. He believes that there’s a strong possibility that Victoria and Eli were working together and wanted her to know about it.
Victoria calls Eli and asks to meet up with him. Nancy is left in a hysterical state after returning, and Richard tries to calm her down. There’s something that Nancy knows that can only be revealed after she returns to her normal mental state.
