Nagato Uzumaki, better known as Pain, is a skilled fighter with access to a vast reservoir of chakra. It is stated that the Uzumaki Clan has plenty of chakra, and in fact, Naruto’s mother, Kushina Uzumaki, serves as a Jinchuriki for tailed animals.
Masashi Kishimoto is liable for the design and naming of every ninja in the Naruto series. Masashi Kishimoto’s Nagato is an intriguing ninja for a simple reason: his name. There was a ninja named Nagato who operated in 16th-century Japan. But their personalities and appearances are very different from one another.
It is a common misconception among Naruto fans that Nagato really has Rinnegan eyes. Although Nagato was born with Rinnegan eyes, the eyes he now uses were really Madara Uchiha’s before they were transplanted into him when he was a little child.
Rinnegan eyes can only be obtained via transplant from another Uchiha; hence, it stands to reason that someone in the Uzumaki family has them.
The fact that Nagato and Naruto come from the same Uzumaki family tree makes them distant relatives rather than cousins. If you want to use proper language, you may say that Nagato is a distant ancestor or relative of Naruto since he is from a prior generation.
Concerning his awareness of his lineage and family history, Naruto’s knowledge of his relationship with Nagato grows as the narrative progresses. At the novel’s beginning, he knows very little about his ancestry and history, but he learns more as the plot develops. However, his background with Nagato may not be fully explained in the show.
What did Nagato do to get the Rinnegan?
The fabled Sage of the Six Paths was the first person to be documented using Rinnegan. Since nobody else on earth has ever been able to freely control their chakra and shape it into various ninjutsu, he may be considered the first shinobi.
When the Sage of the Six Paths died, he split his authority between his two sons, Indra and Asura. Asura received his knowledge and might, while Indra received his ninjutsu and sharing eye technique. In the end, Indra and Asura spent their whole lives in conflict with one another.
Their successors carried on the tradition of enmity and civil conflict. The Uchiha are descended from Indra, whereas the Senju and then the Uzumaki may be traced back to Asura. Only Madara has been capable of reawakening the Rinnegan dormant inside a human being. His newfound vitality was unproductive in a body too weak to use it.
Therefore, he has decided to give over control of his Rinnegan to someone else who has eye power. He also specified that the person who would inherit his estate would be the one to use the refined Rinnegan to bring him back to life after his death.
Madara gave his Rinnegan to a young man from the little warring kingdom of Amegakure. His given name is Nagato. Madara picked Nagato because, like him, he is a Uzumaki. As a consequence, he has the same innate physical abilities as the Senju and is a suitable receptacle for the Rinnegan.
Madara entrusted his legacy and grand scheme to a young man from Konohagakura called Obito Uchiha, a member of the Uchiha clan. Obito was tasked with maintaining tabs on Nagato and interfering when necessary to lead him toward Madara’s objective.
How Nagato Master The Rinnegan?
Even if Madara had a master plan for Nagato, it was sheer luck that he bumped across Jiraiya, one of the three most well-known shinobi in all of Konoha. For a long time, Jiraiya instructed Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan in the ways of the shinobi and the art of ninjutsu. He gave Nagato a lot of practice exercises to help him improve his eyesight.
Many bloody battles were fought on the altar of her mother country before Jiraiya severed ties with Nagato and the others. Nagato’s growing pessimism about life didn’t help Obito win him over, either. He holds dear the lessons he learned from Jiraiya and never forgets them.
The death of Yahiko, Nagato’s best friend, broke him down completely. Next, he overheard Obito’s whispered threats of vengeance and revolt. Obito started teaching Nagato Rinne Tensei, the profound rebirth ninjutsu techniques passed down by the Sage of the Six Path. This is Nagato’s plan to bring Madara back from the grave.
They are largely responsible for Nagato’s possession of a Rinnegan and Madara’s long history of using him as a pawn. Nagato was undeniably a terrifying shinobi who was able to fully understand Rinnegan’s power, and this is why he could destroy Konoha and every challenging shinobi in it all by himself. He was a perfect fit for the part of Rinnegan.
Who Taught Nagato?
Not only are Nagato and Naruto related by blood, but the famous shinobi who trained Naruto also started Nagato on his path. It was years before Naruto was born that Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko realized they were the world’s only genuine hope. The intelligent Yahiko was the architect behind their increasingly intricate plots.
However, as bums, they lacked the credentials to gain entry to the corridors of power. They had reached out to the legendary Sannin out of desperation. The three great warriors were at odds on how to treat the kids. Orochimaru, always looking out for number one, promised to put an end to the orphans’ misery by killing them.
Jiraiya was embarrassed by the kids, though, because he was aware of his role in the conflict that had resulted in their fatherlessness. He offered shelter to the ragtag group and provided them with basic survival training as punishment.
Before Nagato’s Rinnegan manifested, he flat-out refused to teach them ninjitsu. Then, he started instructing the trio in military strategy, paving the way for the orphans to create the Akatsuki.
