The battle between Eugene Lionhart and Ciel ended in Damn Reincarnation Chapter 72. As promised, Eugene Lionhart does not kill Wywy, Ciel’s pet Wyvern. Even then, Ciel gets pissed and tries to attack Eugene Lionhart from the back, but he manages to escape and get hold of her instead.
Ciel then accepts her defeat. Eugene Lionhart asks her to spill everything that she knows about the place and the palace. Ciel tells him to just go and find the Black Lion Castle. She also tells him that there are sixty black lion knights, including the captains.
Apparently, the captains and the black lion knights were all over this mountain looking for Eugene Lionhart and Ciel’s brother. Eugene Lionhart finds it a little bit over the top for a coming-of-age ceremony. But again, the senate leader valued him highly.
Eugene Lionhart also learns that the mountain was pretty vast and not all knights were for ambush. Some were positioned to stop Eugene Lionhart and Ciel’s brother from going anywhere they should not. Eugene Lionhart instantly knew that she was talking about Vermouth’s grave.
