The manhwa, ‘Pure Villain,’ has been ongoing since its release in 2022. However, each time a new chapter is out, it fills the readers with new excitement. Not to mention, the series has gained popularity because of its supernatural theme blended with the romance and comedy genre. Not only does it make the plot unique, but it is also interesting to read.
The story follows the character called Han Do-Ryeong, who is a young police officer renowned for his unmatched strength. The world is filled with highly developed techs where the police exist with special benefits to chase after criminals who also possess some special abilities.
As it happens, one day, an unreasonable criminal comes in front of Han Do-Ryeong, who is having a peaceful day after a long period of work. Han Do-Ryeong has a reputation throughout the place for being the strongest, so any criminal would normally avoid him to make contact.
However, the villain who approached Han Do-Leong has a peculiar personality as this person loves to spar against the strongest hero. Just like Han Do-Ryeong, this person, Park Rosa, also has the reputation of being the worst. But the matter is quite normal as it seems.
In normal cases, the hero would catch the villain and give it justice, but this is a scenario where we see the hero and villain falling in love with each other. As ridiculous as it may sound at first, their story together is romantic and filled with unknown adventures.
But many difficulties lie ahead of them as it is not socially acceptable for them to be together. Since Han Do-ryeong is a police officer, he has to follow the protocols and laws and not promote anything illegal. So, what stands before these opposite characters? Will they fight against the odds and be together?
Recap and Review of Pure Villain Chapter 69
Park Rosa is being hunted by the police and is on the run. Meanwhile, we see Han Do-Ryeong having a hard time deciding what he should do next with his choice as he is constantly told that she is his former lover. In reply, Han Do-ryeong says it is no past, and he still loves her to this day while reminiscing about the old times.
Then there is Park Rosa, who is hiding from the police, who are searching for her everywhere. The situation is much worse than she thought. Park Rosa certainly has not committed a crime of this magnitude, so she does not understand all the fuss.
She tries to hide in the school, thinking the forest is mostly unnoticed and the club room is empty right now. She absolutely cannot go to her house as her poster is almost everywhere. Suddenly, she hears someone coming through the door and immediately knocks that person out.
It turns out to be none other than Nam Woosub, who is also trying to search for her. He estimates that since police are searching in 50,000 different places, the school is the only place where she would think of going in such a case. Surprisingly, his guess is right, but the welcome he receives is rather painful rather than comforting.
Nam Woosub suggests an idea, and he takes her to his sisters. They are all shocked to see the infamous Black Dog in their company because of her vigilant status in society. But Nam Woosub is trying to make them understand that she is not a criminal.
Regardless of her actual status, Nam Woosub’s family decides to protect Rosa from here on. Then, we see Han Do-Ryeong thinking about the conversation he had the other day.
He gives us the actual picture of what happened. The person who attacked those people was Han Do-Ryeong; Park Rosa just got in the way and took the blame. Han Do-Ryeong feels responsible for everything that has happened.
Later, he contacts Rosa’s hiding place, and Nam Woosub picks up the phone. At first, they do not recognize they do not know and think they are being traced.
Then, Nam Woosub meets with Han Do-ryeong, who is hiding his identity under thick clothes. They get inside an empty room, and suddenly, Han Do-ryeong claims that Nam Woosub likes Rosa. Then, the chapter ends there.
Pure Villain Chapter 70 Spoilers
Park Rosa is under suspension and is being chased by the police almost everywhere. She has nowhere to go, and even her home is not safe. Ironically, her crime is not even that critical she is charged with.
In her hard times, Nam Woosub comes to her rescue and offers her shelter. Then, later, we find out that the actual responsible person is Han Do-ryeong.
In the next chapter, we will see what Nam Woosub has to say about Han Do-ryeong’s allegations about her feelings for Park Rosa. As she is in a difficult situation, only Nam Woosub gives her a helping hand when even Han Do-ryeong hesitates.
