Safir: Synopsis
The drama is about a family whose every decision is taken by the Grandfather. He rules the entire family and manages his daughter-in-law and her three sons. Ates is the eldest son of the family who moved to the States after the death of his father.
Ates strongly opposed the fact that his grandfather had to make every decision for them, but after the continuous request of his mother, he finally came back to Turkey after ten years. The whole scenario of the family changes after Ates arrives back at the house.
The main protagonists of the show, Feraye, and Yaman, get tested by their fate of love. They are childhood sweethearts who are about to get married, but destiny has some other plans for them. Due to a forced situation and internal family issues, Yaman got married, and Feraye thinks he cheated on her.
The show further gives a twist when Feraye becomes pregnant, and the only one who knows about the pregnancy is Ates; there is now a love triangle between the leads. Ates promises Feraye to keep her safe no matter what happens, but even though Yaman gets married, her heart still longs for Yaman.
Safir Episode 4: A Quick Recap
Episode 4 starts with a bitter conversation between Feraye and Yaman. Yaman plans to take Feraye with him so that they can settle peacefully abroad. Feraye is deeply hurt over Yaman’s actions as he left her and married another girl just before they planned to announce their marriage.
But Feraye doesn’t understand that Yaman is in a tough spot because of his family and reveals that she is going to marry Ates. Both of them were hurt, and they have come to a point where it has become difficult for both of them to be together again.
There is increasing tension between the Vural and Gulsoy families; Ates comes to know about all the past records of the Vural family from his brother Okan and is on the verge of destroying them. Okan is the youngest brother of Ates. He shouts at him and warns him not to follow the evil orders of their grandfather.
On the other hand, Celine reveals in front of the whole family that her second daughter, Feraye, is getting married to Ates, which raises the temperature at the dinner table.
Ates’s mom is angry with her sons as she wants to choose her daughter-in-law from a wealthy family and not amongst the ones whose family work in her house. She reacts violently, and this also stresses out Yaman, who leaves the dinner table right after the revelation.
The real twist of the episode happens towards the end of the show. Both Ates and Feraye’s families meet up to discuss their marriage, and at that very moment, Yaman comes and holds Feraye’s hands. This shocks the entire Gulsoy family and Feraye as well.
