Sylvia leads a very different and difficult life than her other siblings. She has been mistreated since childhood for her fat and ugly appearance, while her siblings are praised as talented and beautiful. Not only that, she is also said to have a very bad attitude to boot.

It is that the world mostly judges people based on their aesthetic criteria, and it barely matters how much talent someone possesses. Such is the case for Sylvia; she is fat-shamed and taunted for the claims of her lofty demeanor. Even her parents have been harsh to her.

As it happens, one day, she acts out for her cold father’s attention, resulting in her being exiled from home. Unable to bear the pain she has been going through, Sylvia decides to take her own life. And surprisingly, she gets transferred to a different world, waking up five years before her death.

Recap and Review of Chapter 114

The chapter begins with Sylvia coming to an unknown place where Elam stands and welcomes her. She is shocked to find him in such a place and inquires about her whereabouts. In reply, Elam says he has been watching over her and is responsible for some events in her life.

Elam also enclosed that he ordered the empress to kill her lover because he was jealous and could not afford to see her with someone else, so he ended Sylvia’s love affair. Sylvia becomes all confused hearing this and cannot get a grip on the reality.

Then Elam says this must be due to her lack of memory since she has arrived here. Sylvia also asks him why he would kill Lyla when she calls him master, even though he took her in as a child. Elam tells her that she is only a part of the grand scheme of bringing them together.

She was used as a tool to achieve what Elam wanted, and once the need was met, her reason for existing also did. He also gives her a philosophical lecture about how all humans are foolish while only he and Sylvia are the smart ones.

Elam confesses that he has existed since this world was first formed, and she is unaware of many more complicated matters.

When the world was first created, the gods did whatever, and however they liked. They played with lives, torturing them as long as it satisfied their entertainment. There was no rule to bind the living, and the contrast between hell and the living world was close to none.

Many vile creatures stood up and made themselves superior even though they belonged to the lowest pits of the underworld. However, the gods were soon tired of their creation, so they left it as it was, leaving the order in chaos.

So, amidst all the files that had taken place, Elam thought himself to be the chosen one the gods especially marked.

One day, he notices a star falling on the ground and discovers it is a woman. But Elam is shocked at this point as he notices that this woman possesses even greater power than him, although they both are humans.

The visitor from another world was puzzled about whether her location was hell or heaven. Then we learn that the woman is none other than our Sylvia, and the chapter ends there.

Chapter 115 Spoilers and Expectations

Sylvia has suddenly come to a place where he sees Elam again. But this time, she meets the truth and misfortune that has taken over his life. Elam has been watching Sylvia and destroying anyone that comes closer to her. Elam also reveals his intentions of bringing her to such a place while disclosing the reason behind Lyla’s death.

Panic-stricken Sylvia finds no clue to whatever he is saying as she has lost her temporarily. Then Elam tells Sylvia about her arrival into this world and why he has been chasing after her all this time. In the next chapter, we will witness Sylvia’s reaction to her arrival in this place and what Elam decides to do with her next.

It does not look like Sylvia has any idea of escaping his grasp. Will Sylvia be able to retain her freedom from Elam? Or will Elam torture Sylvia with psychopathic methods to get whatever he wants?
