NFL and HBO‘s collaborative efforts have produced one of the longest-running sports-related documentary series titled Hard Knocks. The show is back yet again with a brand new season, and we are here to tell you all about Hard Knocks Season 20 Episodes and where you can watch them.
In a one-of-a-kind manner, the series is a gift for die-hard football fans who wish to see more of the behind-the-scenes and the training period of the National Football League teams before the games. Fans feel closer than ever to the team members they idolize as they get to see their personal and professional lives along with the team’s bond, pranks, and inside jokes.
The series puts focus on the staff, coaches, and team members, along with their interpersonal conflicts, family issues, and just about whatnot. Really, the show does not leave any aspect of their lives untouched.
The show has been airing since 2001 when it was first created by Marty Callner, and with every new season that has been released since then, a new team has been featured on the show every time. NFL revealed that it had at a point, faced trouble getting teams to agree to be on the show, but they have made efforts to make sure that the teams participate, even if it is under pressure or with the use of force.
Hard Knocks Season 20: The Plot
This brand-new season has brought the New York Jets in front of the camera, and from what we know, this was not an easy task. Though the show is shot in a documentary style and the camera crew manages to infiltrate into every aspect of the players’ lives, surely the team would rather focus on bucking up their game than look pretty in front of a camera.
The coach of the team, Robert Saleh, revealed that the team was just not interested in being featured in the documentary and that they are ‘just not one of those’ who would want Hard Knocks around them. Player Aaron Rodgers, who has joined the Jets, is going to be under the special focus of the crew, considering he is a four-time NFL Most Valuable Player.
While the team is under speculation, and rightfully so, the presence of the Hard Knocks is something they just have to deal with. But while the crew would love to shoot every possible existing moment, the team has denied HBO the right to film certain moments of their training camp to protect the team and their strategies.
