Haruto was surprised. Ora informed him that both his academic and practical abilities went far beyond a student’s scope. Haruto realized that he could graduate if Ora thought that he was so capable.

Ora started shouting at Tear because she wanted to deliver the news to Haruto, and she took it from her. Irisphilia asked Haruto what kind of relationship the three of them had.

Haruto could not find the right words to explain his relationship with Ora and Tear, so he dodged the question as she asked him anything. While Ora and Tear got tangled up in another argument, Tear told Ora she was way too nice.

Ora did not take that as a compliment and asked her to elaborate on what she meant by that. Tear explained that researchers needed to be obsessed enough to completely disregard others, but Ora did not have the backbone for that.

Ora told her that was not true and told Tear that was only something an inhuman person like Tear could think because that was completely unacceptable behavior for a researcher. Tear reminded Ora that she had never beaten her, even since they were students. Ora had to admit Tear always had better grades than her.

But Ora reminded Tear she was a better researcher than her, and Tear told her she was still doing better when they worked in the same lab. Ora gave up on arguing with her and told her she would never get along with her in her entire life.
