Kaya Chan is a 4-year-old innocent little girl, and she spends most of her day in a kindergarten because her parents are too busy, and she has a favorite sensei in the kindergarten but no friends. Sensei found it odd that Kaya Chan had no friends because everyone was an innocent kid, and Sensei couldn’t figure out why Kaya wasn’t as playful as the other kids.
Kaya-chan would spend most of her day staring at thin air and then suddenly launching herself at a nearby kid and causing trouble, including throwing children off swings, taping picture books, stomping on the children’s candies, and doing random stuff which makes no sense, and when the Sensei asks Kaya chan what is wrong, all she gets back is an intense glare from Kaya Chan.
Sensei was too troubled because of Kaya-chan, and one day. Sensei decided to take matters into her own hands and follow Kaya Chan everywhere and monitor his every move, and stop Kaya-chan before she caused any trouble when Sensei opened a book taped by Kay-chan.
Horrifying monsters came out of the book, and when they were about to kill Sensei, Kaya Chan came running and punched all the monsters away. That is when Sensei realized that Kaya was not normal like other kids and that she had certain powers.
Kaya-Chan Isn’t Scary, or Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai, is a Japanese Comic or Manga written and drawn by Yuritaro while following the genres of Horror, Fantasy, Psychological, Drama, Seinen, and Mystery. The series is published by Shinchosha, featured in the magazine Kurage Bunch by Shinchosha, was initially released in 2022, and is currently not licensed in English.

In the previous chapter, Taka-chan woke up like usual and got ready for another fun day at the kindergarten, it was a very rainy day, but that didn’t stop Taka-chan from going to the kindergarten.
On the way, Taka started hearing weird noises saying, “Look up,” and he felt like the road would suddenly turn black, and the rain would turn red, but he didn’t think of it much and thought he was just seeing things because he didn’t sleep properly for few days. But suddenly, Taka-chan gets hit by a speeding vehicle and is killed.
