Futurama Season 8 Episode 1 Recap
The title of the previous episode is “The Impossible Stream,” which begins with the time that has frozen for an unknown length of time. Professor Farnsworth, voiced by Billy West, started tunneling through time. His motto is to find Fry and Leela.
He finally found them in time, but they are suffering from a case of extreme old. We see that they are quite old and unable to do anything on their own now.
A time portal opens in front of them, from which Professor Farnsworth emerges and offers to reset the universe. Explain the situation to Fry and Leela and make them young again, which they accept happily. The next moment we see that everything has become normal, and time has been unfreezing with Fry and Leela becoming young again.
It looks like people in the universe of Futurama have felt the phenomena of time have stopped and started.
Amy Wong, voiced by Lauren Tom, says, “Did someone switch the universe off and on? “To which Hermes Conrad, voiced by Phil LaMarr, replies, “It looks like the universe of Futurama got rebooted!” And the funny part of this episode is that Bender, who drinks beer before time stops, doesn’t like the beer after time starts again.
