The Plot of Revenant
Revenant is a series based on the story of a woman named Gu San Yeong, who possesses by one of the evil spirits and has no idea about it. They both come in contact to investigate the case of inexplicable deaths occurring that are connected to the five sacred items.

One day changes the course of her life when she gets articles that belong to her deceased father. Starting from that day, she discovers that people close to her are dying mysteriously.
On the other hand, Yeom Hae Sang has grown in an affluent environment. He is a professor of Korean mythology at a university. And Hae Sang is aware of his capability to see demons. He even witnesses the devil responsible for murdering his mother when he was a child. He immediately recognizes the evil spirit that killed his mother when he meets Gu San Yeong.
Another person is drawn to enigmatic cases because of Gu San Yeong and Yeom Hae Sang. Lieutenant Lee Hong Sae is in the unit that looks into violent offenses. The sole worry of his life is about furthering his police division career.

Episode 3rd started with a loud banging on the door of a student’s room in the Doori studio hostel. Lee Hong Sae and Seo Moon Choon were discussing the suicide case of three students. Hong Sae mentioned that it’s strange how these three school students living in the same studio apartment committed suicide in the same way.
Meanwhile, San Yeong and Hae Sang were busy finding a place known as Jangjin-ri because of a tree. Moon Choon and Hong Sae started investigating the case as they thought there was something more than just a suicide. Yeong and Sang arrived at an apartment after getting a clue from a person. But as soon as they went to save the person and proceed with their search, Choon and Sae also reached the scene.
They realized that they all were looking for the same person. Detective Moon Choon received a warning from Professor Yeom that there would be another suicide. The four of them began investigating and cruising the search in their way. Somehow Gu San encountered the person who was accountable for the suicide cases. He approached the people who are in desperate need of money or debt and then used it to extort money.
Since she also required the money, Gu San was able to escape the location. They gave her the fishpot that other students who committed suicide had gotten. They were all able to protect the girl from the swindlers. Yeom understood that the last rope was actually intended for Gu San because she had would herself. He came to save Gu San but instead ran across the demon that had murdered his mother.
