Comedian Eric Andre is back with the sixth season of his beloved late-night series, and this time with even more chaos. The show aired first back in 2012, and its concept threw the audience off for being so crude and unique. To some, the show lacks empathy and is just not it, but there are many others who find the slightly dark humor just perfect.
The show is a late-night talk show though it has taken that aspect to a whole new level. Comic Andre is known to invite, at times, actual celebrities and, at times, literal people from the streets for his interview section of the show. Another fun corner introduced in the show is the sketch comedy part, where Eric and his guests and co-hosts are known to indulge in creating parodies of different programs that are visibly low on budget but still hilarious to watch.
With the show on the air, the studios definitely seem to be working in utter chaos as Eric continues to introduce weird segments in the episode ranging from but not limited to the “extreme real-life weirdos” interview to hanging out with “deranged man on the streets” portion. Fans who have been keeping track of the episodes would know that Eric is not the only one hosting the show, that he has his lackey, Hannibal Buress, stuck to his side, who seems like the only sane among the duo.
The Eric Andre Show Season 6: The Plot
For many, this late-night comedy show, The Eric Andre Show, remains an example of peak humor and comedy sprinkled with just the perfect amount of dark comedy that makes you questions things in life. The show is definitely unique for a late-night series, but it is entertaining nonetheless. The humor still continues to catch you off guard, which is still the best part of the show.
The makers of the show seem to have accepted the sheer unpredictableness and bizarreness of the show, where comedian Eric Andre is sometimes downright unhinged and sometimes falls prey to the guests’ pranks. Eric Andre seems to have a bunch of tricks up his sleeves throughout every episode, be it with his shocking interview sessions with the guests or his eccentric and low-budget sketches.
Season six of the show got released very recently, and fans can expect famous celebrities like Lil Nas X, Diplo, Tinashe, Jon Hamm, Jaleel White, and so many more.
