Netflix’s K-drama series, The Good Bad Mother, will be returning with a new episode this week. With Lee Mi Joo’s mother finally knowing that Kang Ho is the father of her kids, she seems adamant about convincing Mi Joo to forget about him as he’s in no position to take care of her or their children. As for Kang Ho, he still wants to be with Mi Joo, but his mom wants him to find someone else so that he can never remember his old self.
First seen on television on April 26th, 2023, The Good Bad Mother is a drama comedy show that revolves around Choi Kang Ho and his mom Jin Young Soon. After Kang Ho becomes the victim of an almost fatal accident, he ends up coming out alive but instead loses all of his memories. His mental self reverts to that of a child, turning the cold, uncaring Kang Ho into an innocent person. His mother, Jin Young, soon tries her best to protect her son from his enemies from his old job as a prosecutor, but fate always catches up to her plans.
The cast of the Netflix drama consists of Lee Do Hyun as Choi Kang Ho, Ra Mi Ran as Jin Young Soon, Ahn Eun Jin in the role of Lee Mi Joo, and Yoo In Soo as Bang Sam Shik. Mi Joo is Kang Ho’s former lover, who he had kids with, while Sam Shik is a guy who had always been interested in Mi Joo, despite her relationship with Kang Ho.
The Good Bad Mother Episode 10: Recap
In Episode 10, which was released on May 25th, 2023, we see Kang Ho being attacked by men wearing black suits. Turns out to be it was someone who had held a grudge against Young-soon’s husband and now her son. Even though she pleads with them to leave him alone, they beat him up as revenge for trying to go against them while Kang Ho was working as a prosecutor.
We soon find out that all of that was just Young Soon’s nightmare as she wakes up in cold sweat and rushes to check over Kang Ho. Young soon secretly hears some women talking about how their sons gave up on their old life and settled for good once they found a wife, and this gives her a new idea that would prevent Kang Ho from going back to his dangerous old life.
Young Soon lets Kang Ho know that he will now be the one to look after Happy Farm, but this doesn’t sit right with him as he is fixated on the thought of being a prosecutor. Young soon then visits her neighbors and joins them for dinner. Mr. Son blurts out that he wants to see Kang Ho go back to his old profession, and this causes Young soon to let everyone know that she doesn’t want that to happen.
She also asks them to let her know about a potential match for Kang Ho as she was looking to marry him off. Mr. Son takes the task very seriously and starts looking for women. Lee Mi Joo’s mom hides the village’s newest gossip from her daughter. All of the ladies show up to turn Kang Ho into a handsome guy suitable for marriage. Unfortunately for Young, soon, none of the women or their families like Kang Ho, as it becomes obvious that he is mentally much younger than he looks. By the end of the episode, Kang Ho seems to be recalling some fragments of his past life, which worries Young soon.
