In chapter 71, we saw that in chapter 71, we saw all the members of The guild Parso, Guild Ruba, and Guild Magpie had gathered for the raid. Kim Chaghwan, Parso’s guild master, questions the other two guilds present there if this was it or if any other guild is coming. For some reason, both the Ruba and Magpie’s guild master looked nervous, but mustering enough courage Magpie’s guild leader says that the Specter guild is yet to arrive.

Kim’s face is contorted with anger upon hearing that, and he scoffingly remarks by saying they don’t even know that they need to come an hour before assembly. He couldn’t believe how a lowly guild he had never heard of could be so arrogant.

So basically, we get an insight into the guild hierarchy; Parso, a mid-sized guild, was power-tripping the smaller guilds (in this case, Ruba, Magpie, and Specter). The association had implemented the Collective Raid rule, where mid-sized guilds had to work with smaller guilds to help out the smaller guilds.

But this rule only led to the mid-sized guilds developing a superiority complex over their counterparts, thus not treating them as equal to themselves and ordering them around. But the smaller guilds are powerless as they desperately need their help to raid a large-scale field while avoiding total annihilation of their forces.

To curry favors from Kim, Ruba’s guild master starts buttering up on Kim. And it was at this moment that Lee Seojun and his crew arrived in an overspeeding van. This hurts Kim’s ego, and he thinks of ways of getting Lee to beg on his knees for forgiveness. But rather than falling on his knees, Lee casually approached him and introduced himself.

Irritated by Lee’s behavior, he asks him if he knows who he is. But Lee nonchalantly replied not to know him… this was it, no one had ever hurt his pride so much, and he couldn’t stand it. Kim raises his hands, planning to teach him a “lesson” so that he knows his place, but his hand is grabbed by Lee, who pretends to shake hands with him. His world had shattered; a newbie was overpowering him.

An angered Kim ordered his minions to bring him his spear; worried that he might try to kill Lee, they tried to reason with him. But they complied when he said that he wasn’t planning on killing Lee, at least for now. Kim stabs his spear into a rock to intimidate Specter’s members. He asks Lee if he didn’t know that it was customary for smaller guilds to arrive an hour before assembly.

But Lee pretended to be confused and said they were on the right time allotted on the association’s notice board. Kim approached Lee Seojun and indirectly said that if he wasn’t careful of his words now, then he might get killed inside the dungeon. After all, whatever happens inside remains inside the fields. With this, Kim walked away.

Due to this, the Ruba guild’s guild master goes after Lee and tells him to apologize to Kim, as due to Lee, the Ruba might suffer. But Lee refuses to apologize as he was half an hour earlier than the notified time. But just before things could escalate to a full-blown argument, the Magpie guild’s guild master comes in and diffuses the situation, and strikes up a friendly conversation with Lee.

Kim was passing by when he saw the Magpie’s guild master conversing with Lee. His pride takes a severe hit upon seeing that sight. He coldly glances at them before leaving the place, releasing a murderous aura.
