Olgami Chapter 163 will bring us full circle as Yoon Soo’s backstory wraps up and show us the point where he decided to get involved with Chae Ah.
We get to learn his perspective of things and why he thing or has been doing things. Though, it does make him look less villainous in our eyes as he is no longer a force of nature.
It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that has been reading Manhwa for a long time. When the series gets too big and popular, it is not uncommon for the writer to introduce a different point of view. And many times, it completely changes the way we look at characters.
One of the most recent and popular examples is in the series Dreaming Freedom (with how they humanized), a series that has gone through many changes throughout its release. And just like Dreaming Freedom’s antagonist, we will be shown the humanity of Yoon Soo and how he lost it over time. But he is a vampire, and the journey he goes through is unlike anything a human can go through.
Olgami Chapter 162 Recap
Olgami Chapter 162 starts with Yoon Soo waiting in anticipation as he sees the man he detests drink the poison he gave him. He has tested it on another vampire to ensure that the thing is effective and will kill a vampire. However, as the man keeps drinking it, Yoon Soo gets worried.
The man (who is responsible for turning Yoon Soo for turning into a vampire), seemed a bit disappointed with the drink he just had. He is disappointed that the kid he turned into a vampire to save him has turned to him. He smashed his head on the table and asked why Yoon Soo had done so, adding he couldn’t be killed by that.
Yoon Soo replies in retort, saying that he should have said so, implying he would use something more effective. The man reveals that he was a bit disappointed by Yoon Soo’s reasoning for trying to attack him. Yoon Soo wanted the man dead, for he believed that the man was responsible for his mother’s death, ignoring the fact that the deed was done by him.
