Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm announced a new collaboration of Star Wars Pride edition covers which will include a special take on the series title’ with an official Star Wars Pride emblem. This year’s pride covers have more captures of LGBTQIA+ characters.
In the celebration of Pride Month, Marvel Comics has revealed a set of breathtaking new Star Wars covers depicting LGBTQIA+ characters. The new characters will be in the upcoming comics. Fan favorite characters, including Doctor Aphra and Sabé, are taking the cover page. It includes exquisite pieces of art by various artists in commemoration of June’s Pride Month.
As expanse and vibrant as the Star Wars Universe, its characters are too in every form. The universe has genders of every sort, be it gay, bisexual, trans, nonbinary, pansexual, etc. All of them have been introduced in the film and the comic. Doctor Aphra, the criminal archaeologist who worked beside Darth Vader before backstabbing him, is a lesbian. Lando Calrissian from the Star War movie Solo: A Star Wars Story was confirmed to be a pansexual as Donald Glover’s version of the character suggests having a romance with a droid.
