Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a supernatural manga that takes place in the ghostly world of Kamome Academy. Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a hilarious yet touching manga that has become quite popular and has been adapted into an anime as well.
In this article, we will cover everything we know about Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun upcoming chapter so far. We will be talking about the release date of chapter 102, recap the previous chapter and tell our readers where they can find the manga. The story is set in the Kamome Academy, which has a mysterious seventh floor. It is rumored to be haunted by a ghost known as Hanako-san, who grants wishes to those who seek her help.
However, Hanako-san is not the typical ghost that people had initially imagined. Hanako-san is actually a boy who is mischievous, eccentric, and charming, with a love for tea and sweets. Hanako-san is always dressed in a traditional Japanese outfit as well. Instead of the Hanako-san from the folklore, he is the ghost of a boy who died in the school’s bathroom and has been haunting the seventh-floor girl’s bathroom ever since.
The story begins when a girl named Nene Yashiro accidentally summons Hanako-san and asks him to grant her wish of having a romantic relationship with her crush, the popular and handsome Teru Minamoto. However, Hanako-san tells her that he cannot grant her wish because he is not the real Hanako-san, but rather the current one and that she must become his assistant in order to help him maintain order in the supernatural world.
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun: Chapter 101 Recap
The previous episode of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun starts off with a flashback where we see Tsukasa and Amane together. In the flashback, Amane is fixing the clock, and he tells Tsukasa to enjoy the festival with everyone since he contributed a lot to it. Tsukasa looks at Amane and asks him if he wants Tsukasa to really leave or not and to make up his mind. In the present, Nene enters the second trimester, and the class is deciding on a play.
The play that the class will be doing is the “Wizard of Oz.” Nene asks Aoi if she knows what the play is about, and Aoi gives Nene a romantic description of the story. The class begins deciding on the cast, and Nene is certain that Aoi will probably play the main character. As she thinks that, someone taps her on the shoulder on behind says, “Not after that incident.” When Nene looks back, no one is present.
Nene tells Hanako that there will be a school festival and that her class is doing a play. Hanako becomes depressed after hearing that and says that he never attended any festivals because he will not be served or interacted with since no one can see him. Nene tells Hanako to cheer up and tells him that they will spend time together, making fun of odd people and couples who sneak out to make out and enjoy the festival together.
Nene tells Hanako about the play and takes him to the sealed auditorium which opens once a year. They frolic around the place when Hanako sees the big clock and freezes. Hanako gets a flashback that he needed to get the clock working before his school festival when he was alive. He also remembers being engaged in the festival when Tsukasa comes from behind and asks him if he’s the lowest of the Clock Keepers and if he wants to work with him.
