Hence, they, too, began preparing to protect their nation against an invasion that was possible. The Omega sector saw the necessity of ending the hostile scenario before the nuclear powers developed an interest in hostilities and did further harm.
The Director of Omega Sector, Susan Trilby, believed they needed a specialist to handle such a delicate problem where the lives of thousands of individuals from both nations and even the refugees sheltering there were in danger. Trilby had included a renowned assassin known only by the codename Wolf in the assignment.
The look on Harry’s face told us that he had concerns about the man, while Luther, Gib, and Maria were delighted to get a chance to work with the globe’s greatest assassin, whose struggles they had only heard up until then.
When Harry first encountered the Wolf in Athens while running a clean operation for his mission, he didn’t think much of the man. Harry had concluded that they had made a mistake by hiring the Wolf to work with them because he was a cold-blooded monster.
Even though Harry had already predicted the worst, the others couldn’t help but imagine how wonderful it would be to go on a mission with him. With everything going on in her life, Helen struggled to handle it. Being the sole trainee in the Omega area took a lot of work for her.
Unlike Harry, she didn’t have any pals within the company, and even at home, Harry was so preoccupied with his work that she couldn’t confide in him. Helen was not the type of person who disliked solitude or remaining quiet. She enjoyed interacting and conversing with others, but after joining the Omega Sector, she felt no one was there to give her an ear and listen to her whine about her life.
After class one day, she ran into this man in the cafeteria who was alone and having a tuna sandwich. He was the only one to invite Helen to sit with him, and they had a great time conversing. The man also shared with her how he was seen as the craziest kid because he had this routine of smiling at the wrong time.
Helen told him she had to deal with many problems back in the day since she couldn’t speak English. He admitted to Helen that he mimicked their actions to appear normal, and he used to research other youngsters his age. He informed Helen that his name was Wolf before departing.
