The Premise Of Clanul
Anghel Damian’s Clanul, also known as “The Clan” in English, is based on a Turkish television series, İçerde. The narrative of the series revolves around the iconic conflict between the Police and the Mafia. One of the most popular concepts of good versus evil, along with romance, contributes to the engaging factor of the series.
The narrative of Clanul follows Tudor, who was expelled from the Police Academy for threatening Commissioner Costoiu out of his frustration over the corrupted system. After Tudor’s arrest, he joins hands with a mafia organization, which is headed by Tatutu and Bebe Macelaru, and breaks through the jail walls.
Tudor’s ideology persisted despite the circumstances he had to face. Meanwhile, his mother, Luminita, believes that she has lost her son forever. The story also follows David, Tudor’s brother, who was raised on the streets, overcame all his adversities and managed to graduate from Police Academy as a topper and join under Commission Costoiu.
Therefore, it is quite clear that the main plot of the story will also have two brothers standing against each other, adding to the concept of good versus evil.
Clanul Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
The highlight of Clanul Season 2, episode 3 is the murder of Constanteanu. In order to set up their appointment, Bebe’s men locate Constanteanu’s residence in Bucharest and set a trap.
When Constanteanu realizes that he has no opportunity to escape, he requests Bebe to spare his daughter, but Bebe does not pay any heed to it. Despite all the begging, Bebe burns down Constanteanu’s car, which kills both the father and the daughter.
After killing Constanteanu, Bebe gets reminded of Pelicanu’s treachery. He then sends Tudor and Lulica to find him.
On the other hand, when Tudor locates Pelicanu, he gives the address to Commissioner Costoiu for him to intervene in the murder that is going to take place. Further, Tudor also lets him know that there is an informant who works for Bebe in his police squad.
