Accused Episode 8 release date is what fans are hoping to know more of after everything that we saw back in Accused Episode 7 on 7 March 2023. The series throws light on a crime and drama series. Howard Gordon has created the show for Fox. The inspiration for the same has come from the 2010 series of the same name, which originated in Britain.
It has only recently started airing on the channel. In the lead, we see the accused in a courtroom setting in every episode. Then the whole drama unfolds where we see how the crime happened and what took them down in the first place. This is all from the defendant’s point of view as they describe the entire tale that leads to the events till here.
In Accused Episode 7, titled Brenda’s Story, the series revolved around tragic subjects of rape and violence. We see the episode start with Brenda, who is telling about herself and how she landed in a situation with a courtroom in it.
She is a stand-up comedian with a stale career. The case that she has brought in court is against Zeke Thompson. He is her colleague in the same industry and an ex-boyfriend. The duo used to do their stand-up comedies at a club called Goldie’s. It is owned by Joyce Golden.
Accused Episode 7 Recap: Brenda’s Story
Although, after some time, Zeke was able to get a breakthrough in his career and was able to receive widespread love. He promoted himself and went viral with the jokes. Now that he is going on a tour around the country for his performances, Brenda wanted to meet up with him and show him her material as a fellow colleague.
Thus, to meet with him, she goes to his party and talks to him about how his manager Scott did not reply to her, and thus she came herself. Zeke agrees to go someplace quiet with her so she can show him the material, which is a video.
Brenda then tells that Zeke sees and likes her material and, thus, agrees to let her open his shows for him. As she hugs him in excitement, he starts to kiss her. Even when Brenda clearly states her intentions, Zeke does not stop and forces himself upon her and rapes her. Brenda leaves the party in a horrible condition and calls Joyce to help her out.
Although, the old woman is piqued by how she should take the opportunity rather than come down to help her. She tells Brenda that at some point, she was taken advantage of herself, but that does not mean she let it affect her entire life. Well, Brenda somehow decides to take Joyce’s advice and agrees to move on.
Although, the next day, Zeke posts a picture of her on his Instagram, and it hurts her feelings even more. Thus, she calls in New Hope Center for help. Zeke is thus arrested, and Brenda’s identity, however, gets leaked online. She starts getting hate comments and replies from all over. Zeke even tries to call and rationalize his behavior by saying sorry to her.
Accused Episode 8 Release Date
The Accused Episode 8 release date is on 14 March 2023. The episode is titled Laura’s Story. It will drop out on Fox at 9 PM Eastern Time. New episodes of the show are released every week on Tuesdays.
