On the morning of Brandan and Mary’s wedding, there was some awkward tension between the soon-to-be newlyweds after a significant disagreement over money.
A portion of Brandan acknowledged that he had “some doubts” that Mary would postpone the wedding, and he acknowledged that would be “really, really heartbreaking.” Mary, however, didn’t feel excited or joyful on her wedding day.
“He still didn’t reassure me that he can be man enough to be a father and my future husband,” Mary complained to the 90 Day Fiance cameras. Mary was also worried that her grandfather’s absence from the wedding due to work obligations portended ill luck.
Before he put on his suit, Brandan’s mother, Angela, told him about Mary’s attempts to create a life and her feelings of loneliness during her pregnancy. Angela advised him to stop playing video games all day, get more involved, and manage his money.
Because he used to send Mary 80% of his salary, Brandan told his mother he was familiar with budgeting. That meant so much to Brandan, and gave him the confidence he needed, he said. Brandan felt for the first time that his mother cared about his and Mary’s happiness together.
Following a year and a half of contact, Brandan relocated across the country to be with Mary. So Brandan vowed he would not turn down the opportunity to “step up” and show her the kind of man she deserves.
The gorgeous Philippine highlands wedding between Brandan and Mary then got underway. Brandan was hoping Mary would show up, wearing a suit that was either burgundy or brick red. Shekinah gets ready and makes her way to a hotel. TJ and Kimberly both hit their breaking points. Chaos breaks out at Brandan and Mary’s wedding due to the unwanted visitors. Daniele questions her choice to marry Yohan.
