Attack On Titan
We start the list of gory anime with an obvious anime. Attack On Titan is a masterpiece that contains every good aspect of the anime. Yes, the bloodshed in this anime is incredibly beautiful at times because of its animation. Moreover, this anime has the best plot ever. For the plot, if you do not remember, let’s go over it once more, shall we? The last of the humanity is living inside 50 meters tall walls due to the fear of being eaten alive by Titans/Giants. Berserk
As we indicated in the introduction, some anime and manga describe the beauty of art by emphasizing the gory component. This is what the anime or manga Berserk does. As an anime lover, we admire and thank Kentaro Miura for giving this treasure of art to the world. Berserk is a stunning manga that combines slaughter and violence to establish a fantastic story. The animation, however, is not as good as the manga. If you opt to watch the anime, that’s fine; but reading the manga will allow you to absorb the genuine spirit of Kentaro’s work.
The struggle of our main character in this gory narrative is the most difficult I’ve ever witnessed. Guts never had a break in his life, and his anguish will make you cry. Because this gory anime is making a resurgence, now is the time to start reading it or watching it. We feared we’d never see the finish of this lovely story following the mangaka’s untimely death, but it’s making a comeback, and fans of the series are thrilled.
Vinland Saga
Coming from the same studio for Attack on Titan’s first three seasons and a close friend of the Berserk Mangaka, we have Vinland Saga. First and foremost, if you have not seen any of these three anime, we will partially judge you; nonetheless, now is a wonderful time to start because they are the epitome of superb narrative and gory aesthetics in an anime. The Wit Studio did a fantastic job with Attack On Titan, and the animation and violence in Vinland Saga will leave your eyes wide open for 24 episodes.
The narrative, which is practically identical to the aforementioned anime, is mainly built on vengeance. It is the narrative of a Viking, and as we all know, Vikings lived and died in combat. This anime contains some of the best gruesome fights ever. This anime has a terrific narrative and will satisfy your eyes with its violent animation and elements. Season 2 is set to premiere in 2023, and it promises to be much better.

Another
Again, if you are an anime enthusiast, you have probably seen or heard of the gory anime Another. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a treat with this anime’s 12 episodes. The narrative and horror elements with gruesome fatalities will have you on the edge of your seat with your eyes wide open, wondering who will die next. Basically, Another is like the Final Destination movie series with the form of art and animation.
The story centers around Kouichi Sakakibara, a fresh transfer high school student. After a month of sick leave, he returns to school and is drawn to a girl called Mei Misaki. This is a strange female, and Kouichi’s other pals advise him not to become engaged with things that don’t exist. Since meeting this girl, Kouichi has been caught up in a mystery in which his friends and those connected to them are dying in horrifying and senseless ways. It is now up to him to solve this puzzle.
Corpse Party
As we already stated, there are certain anime that are purely based on the gore notion, and you may have to turn your head. This is what the Corpse Party anime, which has just four episodes, does. Corpse Party is based on a Japanese video game. Therefore, it may not have the finest anime narrative, but it does explore the gory side of the anime, and the game is enjoyable. It, too, includes pointless deaths like Another anime. This anime is only advised for people who can tolerate intense gore.
The anime’s narrative begins when a group of students executes a friendship charm for a buddy who is transferring. However, after performing their charm, they are transported to another reality on their school grounds. These pupils must now find a method to escape or become the ghost of the parallel reality for good.
Shiki
The one thing these gory anime have in common is that the story opens with a mystery that the main protagonists must now uncover. This works beautifully with the carnage and strange violence. Another example is the Shiki anime. The anime has an engaging narrative, and the murder feelings are pure aesthetics, and some still shots of the anime will make you turn your head away from the screen. Furthermore, as the anime’s tale continues, you will ponder whether this is reality or not, and who is wicked and who is good.
When the town girl dies after the entrance of a new family in a sleepy Japanese hamlet, a weird sickness begins. A large number of individuals begin to die. After conducting an experiment on one of the bodies, the town’s lone doctor concludes that there is more to these deaths than a simple sickness. Along with the doctor, a local lad also suspects that there is more to the deaths. They point to the new family and, with the help of others in town, discover a horrifying reality about the new family.
Deadman Wonderland
The Deadman Wonderland combines a gory anime feel with a survival action. It is visually appealing and will make you root for the anime’s main character. Do you know what is worse? To get blamed for a crime you did not commit and are sentenced to death for it. What is even worse is that you are a mere tool of entertainment for others while you are trying to survive in a match. In the gory anime Deadman Wonderland, Ganta Igarashi finds himself in a dilemma.
