On the very next day, Don Shane’s wife appeared on the channel, along with the news anchor, Diana Lewis. Little did you know, it was not just Channel 7, Don also served for Channel 4, in the early 1980s.
Don Shane was very family-centric. The major reason behind his retirement was to spend time with them. It was his wife and two children- Justin and Lindsay respectively. He moved to Arizona and spent the last few days of his life in California.
What was the cause of Don Shane’s death? Well, it has not yet been confirmed by his family. Fans are convinced that he fell sick. Still, we aren’t aware of his illness. However, it was reported that the major reason behind Don Shane’s retirement in 2012, was his illness.
