The Lone Necromancer Chapter 89: Recap
The mini-game between the Korean and Chinese revolutionary teams is on. The Chinese team thought they had an advantage and so they mindlessly attacks all the Korean bases but now they would pay for this mistake. Sung Woo Yoo has taken the lead now and quickly turned the tide of the battle by using his summoning ability. He gets pushed back by the Chinese players but after he uses his Lich form, he becomes stronger than anyone around.
Meanwhile, Ji Soo Yoon alone defends the C base. The other bases get overwhelmed by the enemy but as soon as Yoo and Yoon capture their bases, everyone receives buffs and turns the tables. The Chinese players try to use their numbers to gain an advantage but they still fail to stand before the might of the Necromancer and so they all run away while the news reporters declare complete annihilation of the Chinese fleet, a total defeat.
Yoo notices the comments of the online viewers on the reporter’s phone and sees people comparing him to the Emperor. He is a player who won the Server 1 base in Beijing and Shanxi and uses the self-proclaimed title “Emperor”. Yoo asks why the people think he’s like him and so the news reporter tells him that the Emperor is also a Necromancer just like him. Yoo thinks of all the top classes and how those people specialise in leading groups in their ways and how he’s different from all of them because he doesn’t lead humans but monsters. He wonders how can people think he’s similar to Emperor.
Lee salvages the dead bodies of Chinese players and finds a heroic item which resembles two guns. He keeps one gun for himself and hands the other one to his righty. Yoo stops him and tells them that everything they find is his as he can make use of everything, Yoon calls him a thief for being so proficient at stealing. Yoo uses his powers to check the memory fragment of one of the dead.
Yoo sees the Chinese team meeting room in the memory fragment and finds their leaders discussing some sort of angel statue being discovered in the south. They discuss the abilities of the statue but the leaders say that only the lord general of heaven knows about it which makes Yoo upset as he also wanted to know about it. The leaders declare that they’ll learn about it after they take over Seoul. The lord general of Earth asks everyone to focus on the mission and pulls out the demon’s door which shocks everyone. He intends to use the demons to ravage the city of Seoul which would make it easier for them to win over it and the memory fragment ends.
Yoo wonders what it all meant as he couldn’t figure out the reasons behind it. He decides to find the scroll first and his reconnaissance team also returns at the same time. They announce that the pirates are returning to China while using a huge barrier for protection against the undead. Yoo prepares for the battle to use his new technique.
