Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 147 is going to be the next for the series, and it is going to be fire. Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 146: Recap
The chapter opens up with another flashback of Doosik with his grandfather. Doosik’s grandfather decides to give the store to Doosik and retire, but He argues that he’s still healthy and Hyunsoo deserves to get the store, not him. His grandfather says that Hyunsoo won’t be able to manage the store, and he’ll probably sell off the store to get money for gambling.
Grandfather says that it pains him to talk badly about his grandson, but he can’t deny the reality, he hopes that Hyunsoo will change someday, but he can’t stay around forever to see it happen.
He then tells Doosik that he isn’t giving him the store for free as he wants him to provide living expenses for Yurim and Hyunsoo for a few years. He then decides to go to a nursing home with the money he has saved up.
Doosik wakes up in the bar, and then he gets a call from Hyunsoo. Hyunsoo tells Doosik that he’s having a grand opening the next day, so he wants him to come.
Doosik gets confused hearing Hyunsoo talking about the Grand opening all of a sudden. Hyunsoo replies that he has decided to open a small bar he got from his friend, who sold it to him at a cheap cost.
Hyunsoo tells Doosik that he borrowed some money with high interest, but it’s okay because now he will try living his life the right way. Doosik feels happy and agrees to visit the grand opening. As soon as Doosik cuts the call, Seokbae tells Hyunsoo that he will remove the 5 billion debt just because he called Doosik.
He then tells Hyunsoo that if he stabs Doosik, then he will also remove his other 4 billion debt, which means that he’ll be free.
Hyunsoo confirms what Seokbae said, and Seokbae replies that Hyunsoo just needs to stab Doosik to become free, and he will take care of the rest.
Hyunsoo recalls how all this happened just because Doosik refused to give him money, and also, he was neglected by his grandfather, who only cared about Doosik. He gets furious, thinking that everything in his life got messed up just because of Doosik.
The next day, Doosik prepares to leave for the grand opening after withdrawing some money as a gift for Hyunsoo. He decides to go alone despite warnings from his guards, as he believes he will be fine. Doosik arrives at the bar and finds Hyunsoo there.
He notices bloodstains on Hyunsoo’s face, but he ignores them because Hyunsoo asks him to. Hyunsoo then shows the bar to Doosik, but Doosik suddenly feels strange in the area.
Hyunsoo opens the gate of the bar, and Doosik gets on guard as he notices many people inside staring at him. Before Doosik can react to the situation, he feels a sharp pain in his gut and finds that he has been stabbed by Hyunsoo. He knocks out Hyunsoo with one punch, but then he finds himself surrounded by Seokbae and his men.
Meanwhile, Doosik’s guards come to know that the grand opening is fake due to Yurim’s call, so they all prepare to charge at the bar. Many of Doosik’s men prepare to hurry toward the bar, and suddenly, Ijin arrives at the scene. He tells them that he just came to deliver some side dishes from his sister!!
