The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer Episode 17 is set to release this weekend. Satoshi Mizukami, the original author, partnered with Yachihiro Momose to write the script, which was directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi. In 2022, the series aired on NAZ. Takatsugu Wakabayashi originally composed the soundtrack, while NAZ wrote the storyline.
A Beast Knight, Yuuhi Amamiya, fights a mage with the Biscuit Hammer, a massive hammer that aims to eliminate humanity, in the series. In Yuuhis’s bed, an enchanted lizard reveals that he had intended to destroy the world on his own. But Samidare Asahina’s desire to eliminate the mage alters his intention of destroying the world.
The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer Episode 16 Review
Episode 16 is great, my favorite character in the series is Taiyou. The character interactions are pretty good. I believe the series may have benefited more from the SOL material earlier in the series. The Golem and Taiyou’s interactions seem pretty natural at least, so it feels like everyone is friends. As a bonus, the artwork is much more consistent going forward, even if production problems arise.
The fundamental theme of the show is “growing up” and “becoming an adult,” and that extraordinary powers aren’t as important as the little things in life. That was implied by Yuuhi’s rationale for telling the girls and Taiyou. When a talking turtle appears one morning, Yukimachi’s initial impulse is to capture it so she may show it off to everyone. He was only wrangling a rooster during his speech. Subaru’s just wrangling it.
It’s good to meet Akitani again, even if just in a flashback. Recognizing that the Swordfish always choose weirdos, but they are all good weirdos. the 10th Golem is a decent mob enemy for the Knights to acquire fight experience, however, the 10th Golem always appears to get stronger and stronger with each confrontation. Are there any ways they can stop it for good? Sami takes the importance of attack names very seriously.
Together, Taiyou and the 11th Golem have shared books, watched magical girl movies, switched lives, and other activities. Although Taiyou finds it difficult to relate to people or have a sense of kinship to mankind as a whole, the 11th Golem is a bird of a feather to Taiyou because he doesn’t seem to care about his fellow Golems or human fellowship. He seems to have suffered from a lack of love and family dynamics in his home life to the point where his parents barely acknowledge Taiyou’s existence, and he even wanted the Biscuit Hammer to destroy the world as a result of that.
Animus isn’t the first Owl Knight to join forces with him, as they reasoned that they may as well join him since they’d never beaten him. Taiyou did receive a sleeping bag from Animus while he was camped in the mountains, but time will tell if the situation changes in this round. The Shimaki Golem is capable of self-destruction. Its AoE damage range is sufficient.
In contrast to golems, humans are simpler to capture in Yuuhi’s traps. As a result, Mikazuki and Taiyou felt compelled to train right away. I occasionally disliked CGI. But that makes sense. At least the fights were not a slide show like they were at the beginning. However, the 2D animation during the fight from all the knights was really impressive.
