The Max Level Hero has Returned! Chapter 123: Recap
Before talking about the upcoming chapter, let’s have a recap of the previous chapter of the series. The chapter starts with Davey capturing the fort by breaking through the wall and making the remaining soldiers surrender.
Every general is impressed with Davey because no matter how logically you look, capturing a fort with just only 500 men while the enemy has such a large number is no everyday event. The scene then shifts to the nobles.
They are not able to process the fact that five fortresses were conquered by a mere five hundred soldiers in almost five days. They regret underestimating prince Davey’s potential and powers. It’s when a soldier barges in and tells them their last line of defense, the Yalice mountain fortress, has fallen.
Marquis Enjah offers to stop Davey. He says that although Davey’s power is superior, he is also a sword master, so it won’t be easy for him to defeat him. He offers to stall Davey so that the nobles can advance to the royal palace without any trouble.
