The Bushin Festival is going on and Claire gave Cid her ticket or rather bullied him into going to the God of War tournament. There he meets the legendary Princess Iris and even found out that he had VIP tickets. Everyone is eagerly awaiting Princess Iris ‘fight and she is confident that she will win the tournament.
But little does she know what is in store for her at the festival. Also, Mundane Man starts creating a buzz among viewers and contenders. But no one can really figure out if he is strong or just fast and lucky. But Princess Iris sensed his immense caliber from the start.
Before we dive into what’s going to happen and the release date of episode 20, here is a short synopsis of the story. Like most boys his age, Minoru wants to be strong. But he takes this desire to the next level. He trains rigorously day and night to achieve his dreams and surpass his limitations all while still striving to be nothing more than a background character.
But, one day, all his dreams came crashing to the ground when he was involved in a fatal accident. However, to his surprise, he didn’t die. Instead, he wakes up in a whole new world as Cid Kagenou and is blessed with immense power.
To make the most of his new life, he forms a group called the Shadow Garden and starts recruiting people into it so that they can defeat an imaginary enemy Cid made up in his head, The Cult of Diablos. But Cid is the only one who thinks that the Cult of Diablos is imaginary.
As word spreads about the rising power and popularity of the Shadow Garden, Cid soon finds out that his imaginary enemy is very much real and that the others have known about it all along.

The Eminence in Shadow Episode 19 Recap
The name of the 19th episode is “Dancing Puppet”. Princess Iris is practicing her swordplay before the tournament and she remembers her rise to greatness as she plays through all her memories. She tells herself that she will prove that she has the power and that she will triumph.
In the VIP seats, Iris joins Cid and she tells him that she was there because she had another match. Suddenly Beatrix (war goddess) arrives and she is stopped by the authorities. But Iris tells them that she was the one who invited her. Beatrix says that she is looking for her niece.
Elsewhere, Lord Perv Asshat is drugging the king to make him obey. He is simply the puppet king and it is all a trap to bring Rose back to the palace so that Lord Perv can hand her over to the Cult of Diablos. He plans to install the puppet leader as the next king of Midgar.
It was Princess Iris’ turn at the tournament and everybody was cheering for her. She is going to face the Mundane Man and she is confident that she will win. As soon as the match begins, Iris feels a cut and her head detaching from her body. Next, we see someone in disguise making their way to the palace.
Back to the match, Iris realizes that what she experienced was just an illusion but it was enough to confuse her and bring fear to her heart. She steps forward to attack again but the same thing happened this time with her leg. Meanwhile, the person in disguise enters where the VIP seats are and she sees a whole horde of corpses on the floor.
She assumes that it was the work of the Cult of Diablos. Iris goes in for the final attack but the Mundane Man dodges it easily and with one simple movement, defeats Princess Iris. Later, we get to know that, the woman in disguise was none other than Princess Rose. Asking her father, the king, to forgive all her sins, she attacks and kills him.
Lord Perv’s men go in to attack her when Mundane Man (Cid) steps in and blocks their attacks. Princess Rose escapes from the palace and Lord Perv orders reinforcements but there was no one around. However, Beatrix volunteers to defend him. Cid and Beatrix begin to fight.
