I don’t think this anime even needs an introduction, I mean, it is Pokemon we are talking about. We have been following Ash and his journey from day one to this date. He has grown and has been training hard to become the person on top, to become one who is undefeated. Today we will talk about Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episode 123: Semi Finals Continues. We will also recap the previous episode for you.
When Ash Ketchum, then 10 years old, is about to acquire his first Pokemon, he oversleeps and awakens in a state of panic, stumbling into Gary Oak, who would eventually become Ash’s opponent. Ash Ketchum dreams of being a Pokemon master. When Ash finally arrives at Professor Oak’s Lab, the local Pokemon researcher has already distributed the three Pokemon he delegates to new Pokemon Trainers. He offers Ash a Pikachu, which is the last Pokemon he has.
Ash tries his hardest to become friends with Pikachu as he attempts to complete his adventure, but the Pokemon doesn’t believe him and chooses to remain outside of the Poke Ball, even coming after Ash with its electrifying abilities. Pikachu doesn’t really comprehend Ash’s concern for him until after he defends him from a horde of enraged Spear crows. When Ash Ketchum tries to get Pikachu to turn into Raichu using the Thunder Stone, Pikachu rejects it.
Before summarising the previous episode, let us just take a look at what the Pokemon Journeys: The Series is all about: Ash Ketchum, a Pokemon trainer, has a fresh idea: travel the world! He is first going to the inauguration of the Cerise Laboratory, a research organization devoted to figuring out the intricacies of Pokemon in every region, with his partner Pikachu. Both Ash and Goh are thrilled when Professor Cerise requests them to join her team as formal research associates because both boys have an unquenchable interest in Pokemon. Our protagonists are in for excitement and adventure as they travel the vast world of Pokemon because Ash is as ambitious as always to succeed as a Pokemon Master and Goh wants to acquire every Pokemon (even the Mythical Mew)!

Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episodic Recap
With its upcoming episode broadcasting internationally, Pokemon Journeys will officially begin the quarterfinals phase of the Master’s Tournament. The trailer for the upcoming release teases what to expect from this significant round! After spending the anime having taken on some of his most difficult trials in the franchise thus far, Ash Ketchum has risen to the top of the World Coronation Series. But if he wants to have any chance of ultimately winning the event, he remains confronted with some really difficult obstacles to overcome. Because of that, it will be much more interesting to watch how this semifinal round plays out.
The semifinals of the competition are set to include even more thrilling encounters than the quarterfinals did, which showcased how the numerous champions from the different regions of the Pokemon globe compare to one another. After having taken a break from the series conclusion for a few weeks, Ash is now preparing to face Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion, for the very first time ever. Leon and Kalos Champion Diantha’s bout must first be seen, though, before we can proceed.
In a special training session with his Pokemon prior to the match, Ash encounters Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion. Ash learns about Cynthia’s romantic history from her as she makes last-minute preparations for the duel with her companion Garchomp. In the meantime, the first match involving Leon and Diantha is about to start at Wyndon Stadium. The competitive semifinals are set to start!
Most likely, Ash himself will view this semifinal round as the most crucial one in the entire competition. Since there is no way to know whether he will be able to defeat Cynthia’s challenge in order to face Leon again, he needs to get his shot at doing so. There’s a potential Ash may win the rest of the tournament overall to upend things even more than the anime has already done. However, it’s more common for Ash to lose and prepare for his subsequent regional expedition at this point.
It won’t be long, thankfully, before we learn how things turn out, but how likely do you think Ash is to advance to the Master’s Tournament semifinals? In the comments, let us know everything you think about it.
