Hana Uzaki is delighted to learn that Shinichi Sakurai, a classmate from her high school, is also a student at the same institution. She concludes that he has become a recluse, though, after observing him do nothing for a year. She makes the choice to invest as much time as feasible with Shinichi since she thinks he is awkward and daunting because he is antisocial.
Hana starts her mission to make Shinichi live a fun lifestyle and chases him like a bothersome nastier. Will Hana’s outrageous appeal succeed in luring Shinichi away from his preference for working alone or will he eventually convince her of his point of view?

Hana explains that she missed finishing her homework over the summer break, which is why she can no longer hang out with Shinichi. When the café’s owner suffers a back injury, Ami temporarily assumes management of the establishment.
Hana remembers the moment she and Shinichi originally met while Shinichi and the proprietor of the cafe are at the chiropractor’s office. Later that evening, Hana and Shinichi host a drinking party after Hana inquires the patrons of the cafe about Shinichi’s behavior under the influence.
They discover they slept on the exact same mattress the following morning. They are having trouble recalling what transpired at the cafe. Shinichi promises Hana that anytime they hang out, they will continue to be together, and when the summer holiday is over and they both return to university.
After talking to Sakaki about Shinichi, who lifts Hana’s spirits, she is no longer upset that summer break is ended. Then, when they choose to go bowling, Hana suggests a punishment game and employs cunning strategies to try to confuse Shinichi. She knows that Shinichi is awful at bowling.
The café closes on another day, and Ami takes advantage of the time to force Hana and Shinichi to try on some seductive new uniforms. Shinichi is exhausted on campus after spending the previous night and early in the morning playing computer games with Hana. Between classes, she later discovers him dozing off, and she too nods off next to him.
Sakaki shows Ami photos of Hana and Shinichi taking turns resting in college. After that, the four of them go shopping for clothing, and Hana tells Ami that she has been diving with Shinichi, who has been complimenting her on her swimsuit.
Later, while playing futsal, they run across some of Sakaki’s friends, who ask him to a match. On another occasion, while they make their way to Hana’s residence, Hana imagines herself as Shinichi’s senior. He grew skilled at making udon after Tsuki showed him how to do it, although Hana is critical of his work.
Even though Shinichi practices cutting the noodles properly, Tsuki continues to misinterpret his intentions, and a talk with Hana just makes things worse. The udon Hana’s senpai, whom Kiri mistakenly thinks is a lady, made that evening is greedily devoured by Kiri, Hana’s younger brother.
