The famous adult American animated sitcom Archer is about to release its 13th Season sooner than you would expect, and the fans of this amazing animated sitcom cannot wait for the new episodes to drop and blow us away. Archer is a spy parody sitcom set up in a Cold War-Esque era with the sitcom that has revolved around the main character Sterling Archer and his colleagues, seven of them to be precise, his mother and boss Malory Archer, Lana Kane, Cyril Figgis, Cheryl Tunt, Pam Poovey, Ray Gillette, and Dr. Algernop Krieger. But the new season would be a difficult one for Sterling Archer as well as the fans of the show around the world because of the unfortunate passing away of Jessica Walter, the voice actor of Malory Archer, Sterling’s mother/boss.
Archer first premiered in 2009, and since then, the spy sitcom has produced 12 seasons of Sterling Archer’s chaotic secret agent life and poor work ethic and his relationship with his mother and boss, Malory Archer, who is the leader of a secret service agency called the International Secret Intelligence Service, also called ISIS. The popular FX Network sitcom takes the viewers on a journey that revolves around the life of Sterling Archer and his team of like-minded and poor-skilled agents that travel the world and solve missions for their boss Malory Archer.
The new season, Season 13, is set to release very soon, and there is a lot to expect from the popular American animated spy sitcom with H. Jon Benjamin returning as Sterling Archer along with the star cast of previous seasons, including Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane, Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis, Judy Greer as Cheryl Tunt, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Adam Reed as Ray Gillette, and Lucky Yates as Dr. Algernop Krieger, but sadly not Jessica Walter because of her untimely death. There are many rumors regarding guest stars also appearing in the new season, like Kenan Thompson, Alison Pil, Christian Slater, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Kavyan Novak. Archer Season 13 Release Date
After a successful 12th Season, the Archer series was renewed for a new season. Throughout its run, the sitcom has received many positive reviews from its fans and critics and, with an overwhelmingly positive response for the 12th season, was a no-brainer for the developers of Archer to renew for a new season. Archer Season 3 is set to release on August 24, 2022, on its host channel, The FXX, which is FX’s sister network. You can also watch the new episodes on Hulu. Like the previous seasons, the new season is set to have eight episodes in total with 30 minutes runtime, respectively.
A new threat is introduced in the 13th season, IIA (International Intelligence Agency), a spy conglomerate. The first episode of the new season picks up from the end of season 12, episode eight, where Archer is stuck in IIA. It is expected that the plot of the new season picks up from the ending of the previous season and moves forward in that direction. The season will revolve around Archer trying to find balance in the changing landscape of the spy world.
