The Dangers in My Heart Episode 9, titled “I Hate Yamada,” saw Yamada trying to get Kyotaro’s number, but the latter is oblivious. Thus the former decides to make a group chat to get his number. However, Yamada’s friend Moeke ends up with Kyotaro’s number first which ends up making Yamada very jealous. Seeing Yamada acting weird when Moeke got his number, Kyotaor realizes that she actually wanted his number.
The hassling student asks out Yamada’s friend Chihiro to get closer to Yamada. However, Yamada does not tell Chihiro about it as it might upset her and cause a conflict between the two. Later, the two fellow students ask Yamada about boyfriends, but the latter firmly denies having any boyfriends, and the girls conclude that Yamada denies it for Kyotaro’s benefit.
The hassling students try to get closer to Yamada again, but the latter drives him away by kissing Kyotaro. Moeke ends up telling the truth about the hassling student to Chihiro, whereas, Kyotaro convinces himself that Yamada has been using him to keep the hassler away so he ends up avoiding Anna for the next few days.
