I Obtained A Mythic Item is the story of a down-on-his-luck Hunter whose life changed after finding a Mythic Item. Min Jae-Hyun was a D Rank Hunter before he regressed. During a Dungeon Raid, he heard a voice telling him to follow the light. The light led him to a hidden treasure room. There was only one item there, Odin’s Lost Eye. The Eye Odin sacrificed to gain wisdom.
His party was soon attacked by Dungeon Assassins who were sent to wipe out the Guild he was working with. In a moment of desperation, he equipped Odin’s Lost Eye knowing it can never be unequipped. He was able to defeat his enemy but the strain of his body ultimately killed him too. However, that was not the end. His newly installed NONIR System offered him a choice.
A choice that will send him back into the past, to the time he preferred the most. Min Jae-Hyun without thinking much about it. The next thing he knows, Jae-Hyun woke up in his bed from 11 Years ago. He changed his class from Warrior to Mage and with the help of Odin’s Lost Eye, he gained the trust of Yoo Seung-Eun Leader of the Yeonhwa Guild, and convinced her to train him.
Though he had clear reasons for his sudden change of mind. His family and friends were worried for him. Since he had a higher aptitude for magic than combat they believed his change to be justified. A book even Instructors have trouble reading. Jae-Hyun can comprehend it with no problem. She realizes how big of a threat Jae-Hyun is. He goes to Yoo Seung-Eun for help with the bok but she advises him that this type of magic is supposed to be understood without any help. Goo Ja-In has something nefarious planned for the event.

A treasure that was supposedly lost from Odin’s treasure room. The Asier Gods sent Huggin to keep an eye on Jae-Hyun. Little did we know that he was Jae-Hyun’s absentee father Min Seong-Oh the A Rank Hunter.

We finally got to meet Min Jae-Hyun’s father in the last episode. We didn’t expect him to show up this early into the series but truth be told. Jae-Hyun is not equipped to defeat him right now. From what Jae-Hyun has told us, his father is A Rank Hunter. Furthermore, he is an Asier God who is a subordinate of Odin so being an A Rank is just a name for Min Seong-Oh.
His real powers should be unimaginable. Jae-Hyun isn’t one to run away from a fight so he will try his best. The rage he feels for what he did in the original timeline is unfathomable. Although he won’t get out of the fight empty-handed. He was awarded a Blank Card for clearing the Neverland Dungeon. He can use it to copy one of his father’s skills whatever it may be.
Since he has the Thajalfi’s Thunder Steps he can make a quick getaway if he needs to. But it will be difficult since we don’t know the full capabilities of Seong-Oh AKA Huggin yet. Even if he barely gets by he can always use Sacrifice to heal himself of all injuries. Escaping is a top priority now. The NORNIR System will likely give him a quest related to his father’s appearance also.
