Trigun, an anime that is very popular within the western audience. The story is set in the Meiji period of Japan and follows Hitokiri Battosai. a swordsman who had changed his name to Himura Kenshin: and wander around japan to protect people. It is known for its take on that period of Japan when there were samurais, ronin, and ninjas. He does daily chores and plays with the children, and his past will always come to haunt him. This show was true to the roots and told the story in a way that was never been done before.
