There is a new enemy, a masked man. He has stolen the Guardian Stone on the lunar eclipse. The masked man has got back in time to the year 1938. It is a powerful stone that creates a boundary in the river of the dead. Without that stone, all evil spirits are breaking free and roaming into the mortal world. Taluipa is trying her best to control them before flying away. Lee Yeon has to travel back to get back the stone as soon as possible.
In 1938, there was a fight for independence between Japan and Korea. Lee Yeon reached into the ground that was full of soldiers with guns. He fights with them single-handedly. Lee Yeon is helping Koreans against the Japanese. He found the masked man but could not track him. The stone got stolen by the bandits. Lee Rang is the head of the thugs and leads them. Those thugs are wolves obeying his orders.
