The First Responders is a story of a trio saving people’s life while solving many crucial cases. The trio is powerful enough as it consists of Firefighter, a detective and a paramedic expert. This police and firefighter team will join hands together to fight jointly fierce scenes between crime, disasters and emergencies. The main lead is the same as in Season 1, Kim Rae-won as Jin Ho-gae, Son Ho-jun as Bong Do-jin and Gong Seung-Yeon as Song Seol.
What happened in the last episode of The First Responders Season 1?
The last episode of The First Responders starts off with lots of tense mood. Assemblyman Ma was found dead in his home, this news already created a lot of hustle and bustle. Tae-hwa is allowed out of prison for the funeral. Instead of mourning his father’s death he was rather not affected much. It’s the reason we also see that once his father almost buried him alive and spare his life only on condition of him going to prison.
Ho-gae left his job and is labelled as an ex-cop now. On the other hand, Do-Jin and his time leave for the job when several fires broke out in the same neighbour. On reaching the site, Do-jin finds something different in the fire, something like a sign by the preparator. He ignores it for the first time but on seeing the same sign in all three places where the fire broke out, Do-jin was convinced these all arson isn’t a coincidence, but rather done by someone intentionally.
Do-Jin encourages Ho-Gae to come back and start working as a detective again. He tells him all the details about the arson case and even left a USB to Ho-Gae which contains evidence. The USB intrigues Ho-Gae to work on the case. Ho-Gae do some digging related to the case and founds ut there common thing used in all three places which lead to the fire, that is toluene.
Ho-Gae returns to help Do-Jin but not as a cop but as a fire inspector. Meanwhile, Do-jin was about to confess his feeling to Seol-A while patrolling but both were disturbed by another fire. Do-jin sees the same sign this time too, he goes into the fire to catch the culprit, whereas Ho-Gae also tails him from behind.

The First Responder Season 2 new episodes are scheduled to release every Friday and Saturday from 4th August 2023. Previous was also a weekend drama releasing new episodes every Friday and Saturday.
