Grease 2 filming locations are in variety, and we will disclose them all. The film was released in 1982 and served as a sequel to the 1978 rom-com Grease. This movie also has the same elements as its predecessor. Patricia Birch has directed the project. The setting is once again the Rydell High School. We see that the school has not changed a bit even after two years. The cast has changed as well.
The film was not as much of a success as Grease. It was made on a budget of 11.2 million dollars and earned a little over 15.2 million. In the lead roles, we see actor Maxwell Caulfield who reprises the role of Michael Carrington. He is an exchange student at Rydell High. Also, we get to know that he is the cousin of Sandy Olsson from the first film. The female lead is Michelle Pfeiffer. She does the part of Stephanie Zinone. Stephanie is the leader of the Pink Ladies group of their school.
The film starts in 1961. This is the first day back at Rydell High when a new group of T-Birds has arrived, and the Pink Ladies have a new leader. Stephanie Zinone, as we discussed earlier, is leading the girl gang. As for the leader of T-Birds, it is Johnny Nogerelli. Stephanie feels as if her relationship is over with Johnny, who is nothing but egoistic and arrogant toward everyone, including her. He is quite intimidating yet immature in school.
Soon, Michael Carrington takes entry into the school. He is a very smooth student with good grades and an English accent. Frenchy has come back again to the school just to show Michael around at Sandy’s request. When the two converse, it is revealed that Frenchy has come back to high school in order to attain her diploma and start her own cosmetics business. When Michael comes across Stephanie, he starts to fancy her badly.
