The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague is a Fantasy Rom-Com Anime like no other. The story takes place in a world where Spirits and Mystical creatures once existed. Quite a several of the cast are descendants of one or the other mythical being. They can be identified easily in most cases by the presence of features unique to whichever deity/creature they are a descendant of. In some cases, it’s magical abilities.

The show is centered around the lives of Himuro and Fuyutsuki. Himuro is a descendant of the Snow Woman. He has snow-white hair and blue eyes and is usually seen in his work clothes. He has ice and snow-related powers inherited from the snow woman. Furthermore, his powers seem to be directly related to his emotional state. The first time we see him, he is frozen in place, literally.

All because he was a little nervous about starting work that day. If not for Fuyutsuki, Himuro might have stayed there all day. Fuyuki is fascinated by what she saw and approaches him. She pours some hot tea over the ice but to no avail. But when she offers some to drink the ice breaks instantly. They exchange pleasantries and head their separate ways. That was one of the best meet-cutes in all of Anime History.

In Episode 8 we see the gang celebrate Christmas. Komori reveals that she has won some competition, and the prize is supposedly a trip to a Ski Resort. Komori invites Fuyutsuki to come with her. But Fuyutsuki asks her to invite someone else as she does not anything about skiing. Komori remedies this by asking Himuro to teach her. Komori wants to make this an office trip so she invites Saejima also.

They reach the resort and Himuro is visibly excited about the prospect of teaching Fuyutsuki skiing. Fuyutsuki approaches him and apologizes for being a burden. He assures her that she is not and he begins the lesson. Firstly he makes sure the equipment is secured. Then he explains to her how skiing works but Fuyutsuki is clueless as ever. Seeing that, Himuro demonstrates some basic moves.

Fuyutsuki tries to do as was shown but falls on her back instead. Komori sees this and gives her some points. With that Fuyutsuki is able to ski amicably. Before long she becomes an expert. Another important thing to note is that in this episode we got to meet Himuro’s little sister Yukimin. She is a self-proclaimed Model and Streamer. Yumikin seems to have taken a liking to Fuyutsuki. Apparently, both siblings have the same taste in Women.

As of now, there isn’t much information available about the upcoming episode. In the last episode, we saw that Himoru has fallen head over heels for Fuyutsuki. Even though Fuyutsuki does not show it, it’s safe to assume she also feels the same. She enjoyed spending time with Himoru and even said that she wants to know more about him.

Hopefully, in future episodes, we will get to see them go on more dates, spend time together just find out more and more about each other. Their mutual love for cats is again shown in the last episode. As he gave a cat-themed blanket to Fuyutsuki as a Christmas Gift. Last we saw she was holding it close.
