On March 6, 2018, Nickelodeon debuted Blue’s Clues & You! at their upfront presentation. According to sources, twenty episodes have been ordered, and shooting will start in the summer of 2018. Later that year, a new host and title were announced.

Sage and Ginger, spice twins born in “Big News with Blue,” the remake of “Blue’s News,” are among the new characters introduced in the reboot. The agent makes another appearance in the remake, but she’s not wearing her original pair of glasses this time.
In “Getting Glasses With Magenta,” she receives them both later in the reboot and earlier. In the reboot, other characters might make a comeback. The residence of Periwinkle may be seen in the background of the theme song and various episodes.
